Am looking for an engagement ring, my wedding ring is 9ct. Can you wear 18ct with it and what is the stone set in it looks like silver - is the diameter measure from the stone or the widest part of the band

You can wear 18K gold with 9K but there may be a difference in colour. 18k is a richer colour.
The stone is set in white gold.
If you are between a size J - Q you can return the ring if the difference in colour is too great!
