Like so many men, I left it really late to find that “special” present for my wife, Yvonne. I knew that I wanted to buy her some diamond jewellery but pressures of work meant it was going to be virtually impossible for me to get to our local shopping centre.
In view of this, I thought I’d give the Internet a go. A quick search on Google brought up a list of online jewellery stores. After browsing through the first few sites my hopes were fading – most of them were really tacky and the jewellery was either horribly out of date or of the type you might find in popular high street catalogue shops. Just before I abandoned the exercise altogether, I happened across The Diamond Store. I was instantly impressed. The site was nice and clean (I’m a web designer so I’m particularly sensitive about this!) and the jewellery was much more my wife’s taste. After only a few minutes I had found the ideal gift, a nice diamond trilogy pendant necklace with around 40% off the high street retail price. The site even explained the significance of the design, symbolising the past, present and future of a relationship.
I got huge brownie points for reciting this on Christmas Day – it really added the “Ahhhhhh” factor! My wife was delighted with the piece and has worn it almost constantly since. The Diamond Store really got me out of a hole by getting the item to me in lightening quick time by Royal Mail Special Delivery and the presentation box and packaging were first class.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Diamond Store to my friends, family and colleagues – I’ll certainly be back. That reminds me, my wife’s birthday is in February…
