The Apprentice - Jewellery

My favourite Reality tv show started tonight.

The Apprentice...just love it. I could talk business all day long...but just got no-one to listen to me.

I love the fact that you know the women are all going to argue because thats what women do when theres more than 2 of them that have to make a decision!

Love the fact that theres always a smart arse who pretends he knows everything, when hes just copied it from somewhere.

Love the fact that theres always one who just talks numbers and is actually completely thick as 2 planks....if you didnt see it the "Analysist" wanted to order 200 litres of milk for no more than 800 cups of coffee.....err thats like quarter a litre per cup.

But this isnt a business blog is it girls....its about diamonds.

And wasnt there alot of diamonds on the Apprentice. Many of the girls wore some kind of diamond stud, square and round.

A couple of other seemed to go for round pearl earrings. Then there were a couple of rebels that went for big dangly ones!

Even Sir Alans side kick Margaret Mountford was wearing a nice pair of diamond studd earrings.

So for the professional look................its diamond studd earrings.

Dame Edna´s Rings & Jewellery

How funny was Dame Edna the other night. I have seen her in soooo long I forgot how funny the show was.

And the guests just didnt seem to know how to take Edna - that was even funnier. Ronnie Corbetts bit was brilliant.

What about the jewellery, how big were those rings and how many was she wearing? I think she had a gemstone ring on every finger.

She was wearing a big aquamarine and a big black sapphire or onyx ring amongst every other colour going!

Coleens Ring - 21st Birthday Present

So rumours have leaked out that everyone knows what Wayne Rooney is going to buy Coleen for her 21st Birthday at the end of this month.

And I am going to add to that....aparently his is buying her a 200k Diamond Ring by Chopard. It is 10 carat though!

Chopard is the top stars favourite jewellery designer including Sir Elton John and Victoria Beckham.

I personally cant work out whether the jewellery is gopping or beautiful.

This party sounds like its going to be a right laugh. P diddy with Coleen and Wayne....err when did that happen?

Coleen Mcloughlins Jewellery

Coleen McLoughlin really has come far and done well for herself.

Really she was just famous years ago for being the girlfriend of Wayne Rooney but now she fronts George at Asda, written her own book and does numerous things for charity.




















She really tries hard with fashion and tries to be the next fashion icon, but one thing that more or less does stay the same are her earrings.

She is nearly always wearing diamond stud earrings especially on a casual day.

Then she goes the complete opposite when dressed up and goes for the biggest chandelier earrings you can see.


At the end of the march is Coleens big 21st Birthday Party where there will be all the top names there including Victorian & David Beckham, Cheryl Tweedy and the rest of girls aloud and all the other Wags you can probably think off.

Imagine all the bling we are going to see. I wonder what Wayne will buy her?

Fingers changing sizes - rings dont fit

Since I have been wearing my rings more often (as I have been such a good girl and received a number of them as presents) I have noticed that my fingers change sizes as often as my bra sizes.

So ladies, to save your men from listening to you moaning about your rings not fitting, the answer is for them to buy numerous rings in all different sizes, so you always have one that fits perfectly, just like our bras!

We could have pregancy rings, after birth rings, premenstrual rings, menstrual rings, morning rings, afternoon rings lots and lots of rings to go with all our different sizes.

Its incredible, but actually quite annoying. First of all my middle left finger is alot smaller than my middle right finger and often wear my blue topaz ring on my left as I cant get it past my nuckel on the right. But then the other day I couldnt wear it on my left finger either. By about midday, my finger seemed to have shrunk and I could finally wear my favourite ring.

Many of my friends say Im skinney, including my best friends 6 year old, so maybe thats where all the food I eat is going...to my fingers!

And thats why they fit me after about 2pm. Because all morning these little fingers are working hard typing away, writing things like this up and using up lots of calories for those beautiful gemstone rings to fit perfectly...ahhhh

Fame Academy - Tara & Tricia

Why is it that once one reality tv show finishes another starts....i know I know...I said no more xxxx tv but its addictive.

My latest is Fame Academy....but it is for charity...so its ok for me to watch it hey.

Tonight it was bling bling everywhere....and big bling bling.





Tricia Penrose was wearing a really big sparkly ring.





Tara Palma Tomkinson was wearing a really large diamante necklace along with large tear drop shape earrings and a very very large what looked like an opal ring which matched the beutiful cream suit.

Sienna Miller Jewellery

Sienna Miller really is the latest icon when it comes to fashion, hair and beauty.

She was one of the first to wear the skinny jeans....(which, by the way I am absolutely fed up with now), then cut all that hair off when her relationship with Jude Law finished.

Now that she is starring in Factory Girl you know that all that gear is going to be the latest fashion.

The bigger and danglier the earring the better it seams.

Conflict Diamonds - The facts...

With everyone more aware of where their diamonds are from here are a few facts...

$8.4 billion worth of diamonds a year come from African countries.

More than 99% of diamond are from conflict-free sources and traded under the UN mandated Kimberley Process.

Sierra Leone is now at peace and exported around $142 million diamonds in 2005.

Under the Kimberley Process, rough diamonds can only be exported and approved when accompanied by a certificate from the exporting country.

Diamond revenues enable every child in Botswana to receive a free education up to the age of 13.

As of November 2006, there were 71 members of the Kimberley process.

It is estimated that one million people work in the informal alluvial diamond digging sector.

An estimated 5 million people have access to appropriate health care globally thanks to revenues from diamonds.

Flash Nails and Diamond Rings!

Today I fancied treating myself and had a set of gel nails done....sounds like nothing but it has transformed me!
I feel so elegant and keep looking at my hands ...and now I wear my rings constantly as my nails look so great!

A manicure is the best accessory to a beautiful ring and can give you such a lift!
Now I've decided to buy another ring to go with my new look...and |I've found an amazing selection at the diamond store.co.uk that needn't cost the earth...besides I need some money left over for the next manicure!!!

Addicted to Prison Break!

Ok...Ok... I am dying to watch The devil wears Prada....It is on my To do list...the thing is my to do list never seems to get done!!

Besides I have no time for films as I have become addicted to the hit TV series Prison Break!

Wearing Jewellery - different moods

This week I have been a little lazy....havent really been dressing up much and havent even bothered to put any of my jewellery on.

Then I had heart failure when I started to look for my rings to put them on and couldnt find them....honestly, Im such a Dunce sometimes with a big capital D.

I hide things in places and then forget where I hid them.

So today I put my engagement ring back on along with my Tiffany Ring that was bought for me quite a while ago.

I love my engagement ring. Its square and just the right size for me. Not to small so you cant see it, but not too big that you´re too scared to wear it. This is more or less the same ring that I have.



My Tiffany Ring is a wide Mesh Ring thats squashy. It wasnt very expensive but I always seem to wear the 2 together....funny how you get into a habit of wearing certain bits of jewellery together. And also what memories certain bits of jewellery brings back to you.

Moods really change how you feel about your jewellery, what type to wear and whether to wear any at all.

The Devil Wears Prada Jewellery

Last night I decided to take the night of from working....so we got a dvd..The Devil Wears Prada.

What a great film, and what an advertisement for every single designer going including Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and lots more. It was just dripping in designer clothes and jewellery.

But I cant say much more at the moment because the other Diamond Chick hasnt seen it yet and so I mustnt spoilt it for her.

Hurry up DC....I want to talk about all that glamour.

Liz Hurley and Arun Nayer Marry in Secret !

Talking about secret weddings...hot off the press...Liz Hurley secretly married fiancé Arun Nayer on Friday (02.03.07).

The 41-year-old actress surprised the showbiz world when she tied the knot with the Indian businessman in a civil ceremony at Gloucestershire's Sudeley Castle, a day early!
Apparently, the couple, who had been said they were to be married on Saturday, instead had their blessing on that day.

Liz - who was wearing an off-white V-necked Versace sleeveless dress - must have looked stunning!.

A source revealed that after dinner, Arun and Liz surprised guests by showing a homemade Bollywood-style movie about how they met and fell in love! I'd love to get hold of that!

Celebrated photographer Mario Testino took the wedding pictures, while Estee Lauder - who have a multi-million pound deal with Liz - provided make-up artists.

Arun, 42, presented his new wife with a stunning £8,500 diamond choker, which she will wear at the Hindu blessing of their wedding at Rajasthan's 548-year-old Meherangarh Fort later this week.

Liz and Arun are due to arrive in Mumbai todayfor a lavish three-day ceremony, which includes a private blessing at Arun's family home and a cricket match between the bride and groom's family!
Arun and Liz will then spend their 10-day honeymoon in the Seychelles.

Billie Pipers Engagement Ring

So lots of rumours around whether or not Billie Piper is getting engaged or not to Laurence Fox.

But if and when she does, is she really the type to wear a diamond engagement ring....Im not too sure.

We watched her last night on Top Gear and she is so lovely, regardless of all the good and bad press she gets.

She said that she exchanged her brand her flashy car that Chris Evans once bought her for 3 old fashioned ones.

I think I could see the same happen with a diamond engagement ring. I think she could go for something more meaningful and older / antique rather than new. But lets see.

Shes just seems so normal and down to earth...we wish you luck Billie whatever you do!

My Big Blue Square Topaz Ring

I am a very lucky girl, I may not get a proper wage but I do receive presents for all my hard work every so often.

The other day, my hubby bought me a really big square blue topaz ring

This one exactly....Its absolutely beautiful. It looks great with everything whether I wear jeans or ....well more jeans actually...as that is all I wear.
