Vanilla Blush - Colostomy Knickers

Now I know this isnt to do with Jewellery, but this woman really touched me this morning so I thought I write about her and her invention.

Nicola Dames was on This Morning, and she was a young beautiful looking girl who had to have major bowel surgery 2 years ago. Now like most inventions they come best when you are trying to solve a problem Her problem was finding knickers to fit properly as she had to have a colostomy bag.

Nicola Dames, started to design her own knickers to fit nicely and with a pouch to fit the bag in. She has designed a number of designs of knickers, thongs and a cami range and the pieces start from 15 pounds up to 30 pounds. She didnt want them to just fit nicely though...they had to look nice even sexy.

An amazing invention by an amazing girl. There was another young woman modelling the knickers who also wore a colostomy bag and it was fab to see her modelling the knickers.

Unless you know someone who has had major bowl surgery you will have no idea they have a bag and I am surprised how many young people suffer with this.

Nicola Dames named her company Vanilla Blush which is a beautiful name too.
