James on Masterchef is fantastic too....we have been watching it for a while now and he has improved so much.

Him, Johnny and Emily are all brilliant and its such a shame that only 1 can win.

James way of putting food together is just brilliant and his ravioli with tomato and basil, and then his pudding looked amazing.

Amy Winehouse Jewellery

Amy Winehouse is going to be designing her own range of make-up and clothes. Well if its anything like her own style, then its certainly going to be unique.

There really is noone else out there like Amy. Her big hair, huge black eyeliner - wouldnt suit everyone.

I wonder what her jewellery range would be like if she designed one....certainly different once again!

Alloma Gilbert

On GMTV this morning was Alloma Gilbert who was one of the children that was subject to years of abuse by a woman who was supposed to be providing them with love and care as their foster mother.

Eunice Spry abused children for nearly 20 years and last year received a 14 year sentence.

The story is just disgusting of what this woman was allowed to get away with for all those years and just cannot understand how anyone could do anything like that to a child.

Alloma Gilbert seems to have come through it and is now a mum herself. How she stayed so calm on TV this morning was amazing. She has also written a book called "Deliver me from Evil". Its one of those books that going to be awful to read but you want to read it because you need to read it to beleive it.

Good luck with the book and hope you will be able to get on with your life now.

Gems TV - Jewellery Channels

So Saturday Night, I watching Ant and Dec, they were so funny....the part where the family that were hypnotized was hilarious. Ant and Dec are looking a little old now hey?

So during the break we started surfing the channels and came across Gems TV....well I was off to get the phone...honestly.

Husband couldnt beleive it, I was like a dog on heat. Saw this massive Black Onyx Ring that said it was something stupid like 400 pounds selling for 19! Bargain or what.... Black Onyz seems to be everywhere, lots of you asking about Kym Marsh´s ring in Corrie.

Now, I am the person who saw QVC for the very first time once at a friends house and bought 3 things....some small storage boxes, a roll up tool box and a magie mix....the sales pitch that did it for me was that they said and showed how to make home made mayonese....did I ever make it? NO.... The Roll Up Tool Box was a great use...NOT and the storage boxes...well no idea what ever happened to them.

I ended up watching Gems TV for ages, its really addictive. The prices that they sell the jewellery for actually arent that bad but the prices that they say the jewellery was to start with seem just stupid...like this peice of jewellery would normally cost you 33,000 quid but you can buy it for 200quid - yeah right! Makes you buy it though...fantastic!

Absolutely fantastic...

Got to go, back to surf the Jewellery Channels :)

Emily Masterchef

If you are into food like we are, you may be watching MasterChef.

Last night was the semi finals and there is 1 girl is just fantastic and I can see that in the future she is going to be running her own chain of restaurants.

Her name is Emily and she is only 18 years old. She is just brilliant.

You can see that she is artistic by the way she presents her food. Last night the food testers were completely blown away by her starter which she called bacon sausage and egg which actually was egg cooked inside raviolli with sausage which apparently is very very difficult to do.

This girl has talent and is going to go far.

Holly Sims - Ultimo Coleens Real Women

I love Thursday Nights, I went to yoga came home, had something to eat and sat and watched Coleen last night.

I really really like Coleen, for a 21 year old shes really mature and very sensitive to peoples feelings.

Last night she wore her trademark diamond stud earrings along with her Coleen Name Necklace.

Today they had to find a model for Ultimo which is the bra company run by Michelle Mone, who is a tough lady....she is really tough! But we love her cause she slated Katie Hopkins on Your Fired that time.

Michelle Mone, wow, did she had some jewellery on last night! Huge diamond heart ring...HUGE along with diamond bracelet and diamond studs too.

We couldnt beleive that she actually chose one of Coleens Women. She chose Holly Sims, who was a lovely girl and did look fab in some of her pictures but we really didnt think that Michelle was going to choose one of them.

She did have the most amazing blue eyes though. The other girls were quite nice too, Natalie had a lovely Pave Ring on too.

Well next week they are finding women for the NW Magazine.

Coleens Real Women - Sweaty Betty

Loved it loved it loved it !!! Colleens Real Women last night trying to find a model for Sweaty Betty.

Colleen wore her hair back as normal with her massive diamond stud earrings and a huge ring which was gold band with a huge black square stone. Then during the show she wore a yellow colour dress, which I wasnt too sure on with Gold Jewellery - YES GOLD Jewellery as The Diamond Chicks talked about just the other day. The earrings were like long gold chains with a pearl ball at the end along with this humungus (never spelt that word before - is that correct?) gold whirly curly ring on one hand and a huge square diamond ring on the other hand.

The other lady that helps Colleens wore a ring that had a huge round pearl set in it - I really liked it.

Im sure in the last section of the programme Coleen was wearing a name necklace too.

The 3 girls were great, the young blonde hair girl was a little bit of a " little miss" and thats at the begining of it all. Stacey was great and she went on to modelling the sportswear for sweaty betty but didnt get the actually modelling part of the programme.

In fact none of the got it - which is good as the past 2 weeks they have and it needs to change.

Next week they are looking for a model for Ultimo Bras

Sweaty Betty

If you have never heard of Sweaty Betty before - Im sure you have now after Colleens Real Women last night.

The first time I heard of Sweaty Betty was when I was working in Hampstead in NW London...thats right, this Diamond Chick is just a London Girl.

There was a little shop on the corner and it had the cutest stuff...so nice it actually made you want to take up some kind of sport so you had a real excuse to wear it. But you dont have to be sporty to wear it, its great just wearing around the house.

Sweaty Betty is apparently turning over 9 million quid. They sell yoga wear, sports wear, beach wear and snow wear but they also sell names like USA Pro, Speedo & Nike - they have a nice way of selecting certain styles.

At Christmas I went up to Selfridges, and on the way walking to the Childrens Section I got dragged into the Sweaty Betty Concession...the girls were lovely and really helpful and I ended up buying a lovely tracksuit with short and a couple of tops that go with it all. The fabric is so lovely and soft.

Sweaty Betty have a number of shops in the UK and plan to open in France too but they also sell over the Internet too.

How exciting was EastEnders tonight...so much going on.

Max, you sleezy sod. Cant beleive what a rat you are...but I think that that secretary might just pull the case back and tell everyone what Max is doing to her. Tanya stay strong...dont trust that love rat!

Bradley...now whats in that envelope. I think its divorce papers...I hope its not and I hope that they get back together, but that would be too happy wouldnt it - especially for Eastenders....it really is quite depressing isnt it.

Vanilla Blush - Colostomy Knickers

Now I know this isnt to do with Jewellery, but this woman really touched me this morning so I thought I write about her and her invention.

Nicola Dames was on This Morning, and she was a young beautiful looking girl who had to have major bowel surgery 2 years ago. Now like most inventions they come best when you are trying to solve a problem Her problem was finding knickers to fit properly as she had to have a colostomy bag.

Nicola Dames, started to design her own knickers to fit nicely and with a pouch to fit the bag in. She has designed a number of designs of knickers, thongs and a cami range and the pieces start from 15 pounds up to 30 pounds. She didnt want them to just fit nicely though...they had to look nice even sexy.

An amazing invention by an amazing girl. There was another young woman modelling the knickers who also wore a colostomy bag and it was fab to see her modelling the knickers.

Unless you know someone who has had major bowl surgery you will have no idea they have a bag and I am surprised how many young people suffer with this.

Its true what Stacey said yesterday....it dont matter what someones done sometimes - having your principals of not letting them back in your life probably wont make you any happier.

Maybe thats why some people do take people back after affairs as they are no happier without that person. Maybe Cheryl was watching Eastenders last night and will take back Ashley Cole back!!!

Not too sure I could take someone back after cheating on me - or at least Im not going to say I would otherwise he might - you dare and I will cut your cut your xxxx off! :)

Maria & Liam Getting Married

She did it! Maria actually married Liam, even though shes sure that he is in love with Carla. Coronation Street are making him look like he isnt in love with Carla, but you watch - Liam and Carla will messing around together soon - maybe before the baby is born...if there is a baby that is!

Wow, Monday night, what a night for telly. This Diamond Chick had so much stuff to do around the house and what happened? I started of with The One Show at 7pm, followed by Coronation Street at 7.30 followed by Eastenders and then another Coronation Street...and just as it gets to the good part that I had been waiting for the phone rang and now I have to see the end bit on the Omnibus.

I really thought she might not marry him - how could you marry someone knowing or even just thinki that they are in love with another person.

Kirk and Fizz I think will get back together next...I bet theres a wedding before the end of the year with them too.

Amy is Back hopefully not Back to Black!

Amy Winehouse is back hooray. Wasnt she fantastic singing at the Grammys!

So Amy, just one of the many who have recently gone into Rehab is back out and hopefully on the mend.

Her mum was on telly this morning and shes just so...well normal looking. Just a normal North London Woman...its so funny.

Amy - come on girl, your music is amazing, your so different to everything around....dont go back to the black!

Gold Jewellery for 2008

Jewellery Fashions change just as much as clothing fashions. A really popular gift item bought as from The Diamond Store over Christmas was the Diamond Initial Pendants....they were flying out.

Coleen has done the same in her new programme "Real Women" she is always wearing her diamond studs along with her name necklace.

But Yellow Gold apparently is making a comeback and Gold Jewellery albeit, Necklaces, Bracelets, Rings are all about to be seen everywhere. It goes very well with "The Safari" look that has hit the catwalks with its yellows and mustard tones.


It seems the bigger the better, the earrings have to be as long and chunky as poss, the bracelets, well lets say bangles...this season they are huge with lots of details and the necklaces well just as big and bold.



Alot of people like myself actually stopped wearing yellow gold a few years back and changed to either silver, white gold or platinum. But actually when buying diamonds, the diamonds do show up nicer against the yellow gold colour as opposed to white gold.

Myleene designing for Mothercare Clothes

The lovely Myleene Klass is the latest celebrity to go into designing clothes. She will be putting her name to a Mothercare Range up to 3 years old.



Myleene has done really well for herself and getting herself back on target after her bad patch when she lost a lot of weight and was in a really bad way.
