The Apprentice 2008 The 16 Apprentices

We were excited all day yesterday and the thought of being able to sit down at 9pm every Wednesday Night for the next couple of months and watch a whole load of mouthy, cocky, young people all fight to be The Apprentice 2008.

I just love the ones that have been to university and got BA Hons and Masters in this and that, yet cant add up 1 plus 1...



Last nights show was particularly fantastic, more about that in a minute!

So last night all they had to do was sell some fish, 600 quids worth of fish had to be named and priced....oh and find a market to sell it at....Not one team got it right.



I dont really know the prices of fish but do know that Lobster is always very very expensive in restaurants....well the boys were selling it at 5 pounds a lobster! Even I know that thats far too cheap and I havent even been to University or ever eaten it!

Claire managed the team for the Girls and Alex for the boys....neither of them were particularly fantastic, but they did put themselves forward and Sir Alan likes that, especially in the first programme so I was pretty convinced that neither of them would be fired.

Nicholas who was the one to do the pricing was brought in to the board room with Alex and Raef and the minute he started about "Class and Educated" you knew he would be fired....Sir Alan doesnt like that ....Nicholas basically said that if you speak a little cockney, or more like...not like him you were uneducated. What a X%$&·"&!

Lets see if what Sir Alan calls a "Toff" will win this year....it would a first...I doubt it though.

Its funny, naming all the names above and seeing some of their pictures I only actually saw about 4 of them lastnight. Raef, Alex, Nicholas & Claire.

Easter Eggs Up For Auction On Ebay - David Beckham

Easter eggs come in all sizes and designs - do u have a desire for lick of Prince Harry? maybe a nibble of Singer Lily Allen?
Well High street chocolatier Thorntons worked with design duo Id-Iom, known for their graffiti-style art, to create the specially made eggs that are to be auctioned off on Ebay. The money raised will go to Barnardo's - children's charity.
I'm sure you'd love to stick your teeth into David Beckham, who is one of the featured faces it even has his signature earrings! Victoria Beckham and Prime Minister Gordon Brown are also featured!

Tanya & Sean To Kill Max - Eastenders

OH MY G-d. I CAN'T WAIT FOR FRIDAY NIGHT!!!! So i was watching Eastenders last night... Tanya has become a sociopath! I cant blame her if i was in her situation i wouldn't know what to do but killing Max!!!!! I didn't see that coming!

Sean was about to leave for Spain, He told her he loved her, and that if she felt the same, she’d come too.

Sean scraped his plan and headed for the Vic. Max came in and teases him for being a drunken waster.Furious, Sean goes to see Tanya who is beside herself and is convinced that the only way to finish everything is to KILL MAX!!!! Sean insisted that the plan's extreme but she wouldn't be influenced otherwise.

Then Max came home and Sean was waiting outside and when he heard what was going on, the minute Max left the kitchen, in Sean came and said lets do this.. SO FRIDAY NIGHT IS THE NIGHT PEOPLE!!!!!! Get your coffee and cookies ready cus its gonna be a fab episode!!!!

Carlas Engagement Ring Coronation Street

So Tony (the nutter) has asked Carla to marry him over dinner with Liam, Maria, Michelle and Steve.

He brought out a big diamond engagement ring and popped the question. She said YES!

OMG he is a complete nutter and have said so all along...could the story turn into another Gale storyline with the murderer for a boyfriend.

Then you have Gale lying in hospital because of her nutcase son David.

When is there going to be something good? Its all so depressing.

Suzanne Shaw Winner of Dancing on Ice 2008

I havent been completely following Dancing on Ice this year as I just dont have time to watch everything and work, but tonight Ive been watching Dancing on Ice 2008 and just cant beleive the standard.

These guys are as good as ice skaters that have trained for years. Suzanne Shaw was amazing with that head banger and twisting with it.

For me, she is already a winner just on that. She got an incredible 30 points twice.


Chris is also brilliant and sometime think it must be harder for the men as they have to do the lifting.

Just fantastic all of them, well done.

Sean & Tanya - Eastenders

What a week its been on Eastenders! from Shirley's drunken behaviour, her heart to heart with Phil as if its not dramatic enough, she's found a lump in her breast, and thinks that it's cancer! Poor thing she may seem to be the evil wicked witch but she has that 'thing' about her that we love. I really hope she will be ok, then hook up with phil and live happliy ever after... Ha who am i kidding this is Eastenders - nothing can ever go smoothly!

Talking about smooth - Sean and Tanya! are they for real! is this going to be another cliche! Will Max be a able to win Tanya back with his "puppy dog eyes," as Sean predicts?!? Sean was always made out to be the bad boy but i cant help feeling so sorry for the poor little man! He is so in love with Tanya, she really makes him happy - I know she has to protect her children and she wants to pay Max back by getting all his money and doing a runner, but again as I've said before this is EASTENDERS - THINGS DONT GO TO PLAN so - should we make bets!! How long do you think it will be before Sean and Tanya's secret love affair is out in the open! Hmm I give it three weeks maximum! On the other hand the story line is just that bit too predictable, something is going to happen - iI can feel it! What do you think about what Tanya is doing? Do you think she is right? Libby Severn Pacha Coleens Real Women

Libby Severn is just 19 years old and was the girl in the begining of the programme that said she was due to fly home and changed her ticket, well lucky that she did!!!

Libby is a stunning looking girl that just had no confidence. She had the most amazing cheek bones and eyes but she looked scared the whole time.

Libby is from Barnsley and wanted to eventually get into the Police Force, but she may well forget all that and stick to modelling as she has just won the Modelling competition for Pacha on Real Women.

Im not surprised that she won, she is naturally a beautiful girl. What did you think about Libby?

What about Siobhan and Ally Battisby.

Siobhan Pacha Coleens Real Women

Well confidence just says it all with this girl. Siobhan was the most attractive or had the best figure but her confidence is what got her through.

She really does have a great personality and boy did she know how to move in front of the camera, she was fantastic and the pictures came out amazing.

Shes only 20 years old and size 14 to 16 but she already looked like she lost a lot of weight and really wanted it.

In 1 photo she looked exactly like Stacey Slater.

Will she win?

Ally Battisby - we knew she would go through, cause its always the ones that have a short interview before being chosen.

Ally is a very naturally pretty girl with beautiful colour hair, I think shes going to look amazing on make over day.

On Make over day she did really well and looked fabulous for the boho look. Then for the glamour shots she was in big time disco clothing and looked great. Her confidence just grew and grew the more she did it.

She didnt win though...Libby Severn won.

Fay Mutter - Pacha Coleen´s Women

I have a very strong feeling that Fay Mutter may win this one...shes beautiful and what an amazing stomach!

Shes go the very boho look that they may be looking for....

Lets see what happens, Ally Battisby is also very attractive and Siobhan.

A quick sneak of their make over day looks like they are going to look amazing.

Coleen wore a lovely huge black diamond cut ring...anyone know where she got that from?

Oh No, I was wrong, Fay Mutter doesnt go through cause she has had surgery on her boobs....so they are going to put Libby through along with Siobhan and Ally Battisby.

Celebrity The Apprentice 2008

Wasnt last night fabulous, Celebrity Apprentice. The best reality TV Show ever. Havent seen Sir Alan Sugar on tv for ages and forgot how rude he is, I love him.

The diamonds were out last night in full sparkle along with the claws...

Jacqueline Gold - Well what a bossy &%&$$ but you dont get successful like her without being like that. Lovely diamond stud earrings she had on and a really nice thick black strap watch.

Kirsty Allsop - We love Kirsty also wearing her diamond stud earrings and huge fancy ring.

Louise Rednapp - What a lovely woman, the type that you would love your son to marry! Shes just so lovely and calm. Louise loves her jewellery too with some big fancy riings and large gold hoop earrings.

Claire who presented Crufts is also in The Apprentice and wore some lovely diamond square illusion earrings.

Hardeep is such a clever man, he had us in stitches last night. Kirsty and Jacquelines arguament - that body language of her blocking the lift says it all!


Tamara Ecclestone was the PA for the girls and did very well ass her father Bernie said he would double the money.

The great Max Clifford and Simon Cowell also featured on the show buying a cartoon for 50K.

A great show, cant wait till friday....whos going to get Fired!

How amazing was Michelle Ryan in Bionic Woman tonight....it was fab, I hope they carry on and make the series.

She was brilliant, looked amazing and voice....what a brilliant accent. Sometimes an English Person doing an American Accent is a little, well....annoying, but she was fantastic.

Victoria Beckham has joined the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and Keira Knightley.

She looks absolutely wonderful, adorned in jewelry - big chunky bracelets, an exquisite diamond ring and diamond studd earrings - The new cover girl looks the certainly part!

Crufts Winner 2008 - Jafrak Philippe Olivier Winner of Crufts 2008

This Diamond Chick had a mad weekend, full of Kids, Pony riding yesterday, a party that we ended up being at for nearly 5 hours and today had friends over all day with kids screaming - great time - mad! And now it gets even madder...

Im watching Crufts! I have never watched Crufts in my life and now Im waiting to see who the winner is....who? well what dog.

The Afgan Hounds were amazing...their long centre parted hair is just beautiful, although there was a strange looking one who seemed to have had a fringe cut - it didnt suit him....like my hairdresser says "just because its in fashion doesnt mean its going to suit everyone".

Claire Bolding and Ben Fogel are presenting and Claire is wearing quite a nice gemstone necklace.

I didnt see much bling on the dogs collars, dont think diamonds and bling is allowed in Crufts

Nicole Francis, Fake Bake, Coleens Real Women

Last Night Coleen had to find 2 models for Fake Bake. She was supposed to find 1 for fair skin and 1 for dark.

Coleen wearing what I thought a strange dress, no shape, white, black and pink print....but her signature diamond stud earrings and "Coleen" necklace.

She spent time in Liverpool with a friend from the shop "Cricket" which is her favourite shop. Her friend was wearing a lovely big tanzanite ring.

The girls they picked were Dominique Goody who was only 21 and had a 6 year old...she was beautiful naturally and looked better with her hair tied back and no make up than all done up for the photo shoot.

Gemma was the girl from New Zealand who was also one who looked better natural, she looked like a porn star in the photo shoot.

Sarah Kirwin was lovely and bubbly and was the girl who did water polo.

then there was Nicola, who was a strange looking girl but she had that model look and photographed fantastically.

Nicole Francis on one had was perfect for Fake Bake as she obviously used it all the time. I thought the girls looked ridiculous with the fake back on at the end...id rather be white as a sheet than look like that.

But Nicole Francis surprisingly won and at the end of the show they showed some pics that actually made her look good.

Have you started watching the new series of Army Wives? Its based on the books, The Unwritten Code of Army Wives by Tanya Biank. I suppose it's a bit like all the other American drama series - although Army Wives was the most-watched series episode in the network’s 23-year history, averaging 3.5million viewers during its run, with a season high of 4.1million for the finale. I have to say i rather enjoyed watching it last week, so this week i made sure to make a date with my TV and sat down with a bottle of wine ready to watch the second episode, hoping that i wouldn't be disappointed. well i can honestly say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!.

Is your Engagement Ring insured?

I was just looking through some news stories and found an interesting and slightly scary report from Abbey Home Insurance.

They are claiming that around 58% of all engagement rings are not insured!

This is scary stuff! Engagement rings on average ( UK ) now cost a whopping £1200 and as we all know jewellery is somehting that can easily be lost or stolen.

The other problem is under insurance.... prices of gold and platinum have gone through the roof in the last few months and many rings will cost a lot more to replace. This is especially relevent if you have a ring that is over 5 years old.

So...my advice...revalue your rings and make sure they are covered on your house insurance!
