Is Mariah Carey Engaged?

Mariah Carey has been spotted wearing a gorgeous (and enormous) diamond ring on her wedding finger, sparking rumours that she's engaged to current boyfriend, Nick Cannon.

Neither Mariah nor Nick's PR reps have confirmed the rumours, so we'll just have to wait and see if this is an engagement ring, or whether Mariah has simply decided to treat herself to a bit of bling!

Either way, it's a stunning piece of jewellery to show off.

Brad & Angelina To Get Married On A Boat

Apparently Brad & Angelina will finally be getting married this summer on a luxury yacht, off the coast of France.

The boat belongs to a friend of the couple, Paul Allen, who is one of the co-founders of Microsoft.

Brad & Angelina will be in France for the final three months of her current pregnancy, and plan to marry after the birth. It will be an intimate wedding, with only closest friends and family present.

Brad designed the engagement rings and wedding rings for his first marriage to Jennifer Anniston, so it will be interesting to see what he comes up with second time around!

Kelly Brook & Billy Zane Split

Apparently Kelly Brook and Billy Zane have split. Whilst Kelly Brook was in Come Dancing her dad died and this affected her really badly as you can imagine and she couldnt carry on with the programme.

Kelly and Billy have been together for quite a while and I always found them a bit of a strange couple but they seemed to have a good relationship. Billy was very jealous of Kelly whilst she danced with Brendan on Come Dancing.

Kelly was seen at some awards the other night not wearing her Engagement Ring and thats when the rumours started.

Heyerdahl iDiamond Earphones

Minnie Driver Baby's Father Named

The cat is finally out of the bag! Media reports are naming Craig Zolezzi as the father of Minnie Driver's baby.

Craig is a San Francisco musician, but doesn't seem to have a very public profile - until now......no doubt he'll be hounded by the media for a while as the news spreads.

Minnie was originally a Jazz singer before becoming better known as an actress, and then dating some famous actors including Matt Damon and Barbra Streisand's stepson, Josh Brolin. Recently she's been concentrating on her music career and trying to establish herself as a serious singer / songwriter.

Will Craig be making an honest woman of her, and getting a diamond engagement ring on her finger??

Dawn Porter - Get Naked

I love Dawn Porter! She is so funny, honest, willing, daring. Everything, she is just fantastic.

Each week on tv, she takes on some kind of personal task. So a while back it was her becoming a lesbian, this week it was getting naked.

Basically, she is fed up with these pictures that make people look like mannequins. We just dont realise how much people are airbrushed on everything in every picture.

Last night first she learnt to strip tease, then she had to do it in front of a whole load of people and fell over, then she got naked for a life drawing class and you just saw her getting more and more confident. She then went for a proper photo session where they did before and after where they had airbrushed her completely, it was incredible.

She then got as many people as possible from myspace to go on a red bus through london weariing as little as possible. It was brilliant!

Diamond Divas Exhibition, Antwerp

The Diamond Divas Exhibition, organised by the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, is a celebration of strong, independent and exceptional women. It showcases diamond jewellery pieces worn by Hollywood stars, celebrities and royalty from around the globe.

Highlights include the tiara worn by Madonna when she married Guy Richie at Skibo Castle, in December 2000. The Edwardian diamond tiara was loaned to Madonna by London jewellers Asprey & Garrard. Made in approximately 1910, the tiara includes 765 old cut diamonds weighing 78 carats, and another two larger diamonds with a combined weight of 2.50 carats. The tiara was specifically chosen by Madonna to complement her beautiful wedding dress, designed by Stella McCartney.

The collection includes some truly stunning pieces of diamond jewellery, and gives a fascinating insight into the women that wore them, such as Grace Kelly, Sofia Loren, the Duchess of Windsor and Marilyn Monroe.

Ashley Simpsons Engagement Ring

Its just been announced that Ashley Simpson is Engaged to Pete Wentz.

Ashley is just 23 years old and Pete is 28. Ashley is the sister of Jessica Simpson if anyone out there didnt know. You know the one that did a reality TV Show about her marriage and being a newly wed and now....well they are divorced.

Cant wait to get a good look at that engagement ring.

Simon Ambrose, Apprentice Winner, is a Diamond Geezer

I was interested to learn that Simon Ambrose, winner of last year's Apprentice, began his business career at the tender age of 3, when his father began taking him round his chain of discount jewellery shops.

"My old man was a diamond dealer and member of the London Diamond Bourse. He was one of the first people in jewellery discount retailing, before Ratners;.....he had a chain of shops - three of them in Oxford Street - and a factory in Birmingham. He had queues round the block when one of them opened. So a lot of my childhood was spent being dragged from shop to shop."

From the age of 7, he began helping out in the shops, and learnt about all aspects of running a business. He would spend his summer holidays helping out in shop branches run by his aunt and uncle. However, at the age of 15 it was decided he should concentrate on his education, so he left the diamond jewellery business for good.

He can also still remember how to tell the difference between a real diamond and a fake cubic zirconia: "Genuine diamonds cut glass. They have imperfections and a warmer sparkle; CZ (cubic zirconia) ones are brighter and the rainbow sparkle reflected off them too perfect."

We all like a man who knows his way around a diamond jewellery shop!

Kate Moss Buys Own Wedding Ring

It seems that Kate Moss is the ultimate modern woman, as she's reportedly just paid £90,000 for her own wedding ring.

The ring is said to be a diamond and platinum band with an Egyptian themed symbol of long life, from the famous London jewellers, Garrards.

The Kills guitarist, Jamie Hince, proposed to Kate last month. He got down on one knee in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and is said to be totally smitten with her.

At least Jamie seems to be a major improvement on Pete Doherty (What a loser!). It looks like Kate wants to have another baby and calm down her lifestyle, so hopefully he'll be the right person to do this with. Good luck Kate!

Phil & Shirley Marriage in Eastenders?

Im loving and hating the storyline with Phil and Shirley at the moment....

For a few minutes I have a smile on my face that they may just get it on and then she goes off on one! What is it with the 2 of them, they arent very nice characters but you want them to be happy. Their relationship is very funny. But last night a spanner was thrown in the works as Shirley´s ex boyfriend came back on the scene.

Whats she going to d0? Will Phil be buying an engagment ring?

Diamond Studded G-Strings

The highlight at a recent lingerie fashion show in Singapore was a pair of diamond studded thongs valued at $NZ155,000.

The Triumph Luxurious Diamond Thong displays 518 brilliant-cut diamonds, totalling 30 carats.

Triumph International, the lingerie company behind the thongs, said that the thongs would be dry-cleaned before going on display - well, you would hope so! They also said that they were not for sale.

I guess it's a good way to create some publicity, although i can't imagine they would be very comfortable!

£1.3m Diamond Earrings For Jennifer Lopez?

According to The Mirror, Marc Anthony has bought a pair of diamond earrings for Jennifer Lopez worth a cool £1.3m.

Apparently they are a thank you gift for giving birth to their twins, Max and Emme, whose names have been engraved on the earrings.

J-lo is well known for her taste in expensive jewellery, so poor old Marc is going to need very deep pockets if he wants to continue to impress her with gifts like this!

Nicola Roberts Make Up

I have been trying to watch The Passions of Girls Aloud and its been quite good.

Just watching Nicola Roberts as she tries to launch a make up range for pale skin.

Its funny - when she was looking through her old photos and album covers she felt uncomfortable and lost and Ive always felt that she just didnt look like she fitted in.

But now that shes got rid of the fake tan and gone back to natural she is quite nice although she does have a little bit of the old "attitude" but that could also be her being young still.

Has anyone tried the make up or will anyone be trying it?

Christina Aguilera - New Face Of Jewellery Campaign

London based jeweller, Stephen Webster, has just launched an advertising campaign for his latest jewellery collection, featuring Christina Aguilera in a series of Hitchcock inspired images.
The new collection is called "Shattered", and features over 50 styles of rings, cuffs, pendants and earrings with gemstones such as jade, chalcedony, goldstone, hematite and white agate inlaid in silver. The collection is supposed to resemble bits of broken stained glass from Gothic church windows.

Stephen Webster also created Christina's diamond engagement ring, which features an impressive round centre diamond.

Christina looks great in these images, although i think some of the images have had too much touching up! When you have a natural beauty like christina, why make her look unrealistically "perfect"?

Jamie Lynn Spears Engagement Ring & Wedding

Jamie Lynn Spears is the sister of Britney - 2 sisters that are making the headlines non stop at the moment.

Jamie Lynn announced that she was pregnat a few weeks ago and is only 16 years old! Apparently by her "Long Term Boyfriend" shes only 16, how long term could it be? Jamie Lynn works on The Kids TV Channel Nickelodian by young kids who look up to her and she is their idol. Even more Kids will think its ok and cool to have sex at a young age and have babies. Great!

So you have 1 sister whos pregnant at 16 and the other whos a mum of 2 and in and out of rehab, although Britney apparently is doing ok at the moment in a sitcom.

But these 2 girls are people that 100s of 1000s of girls look up to and want to be like...thats not great news!

Jamie was apparently seen with a big sparkly engagement and plans to get married. Hope to have pictures of that Engagement Ring soon!

Simon Smith - Winner of the Apprentice 2008

Simon Smith is the oldest of the men at 35 years old.

I dont recall much of Simon from last weeks Fish Challenge just in the programme afterwards with Adrian Chiles they showed a clip of him in the car making some stupid comment which noone found funny.

I think Simon is too old to be the Apprentice but you never know.

Last week Kevin didnt really stand out either. In the boys it really was just Nicholas, Raef and Alex that stood out for either good or bad reasons.

Lee McQueen a 30 year old Recruitment Sales Manager.

He and Alex last week were quite pally and I quite liked the way he stood up for Alex. He wasnt scared in speaking.

I think someone like Lee has a good chance of being the Apprentice - lets see how he gets on tonight. I also think hes one of the boys the girls quite like!

Lucinda didnt really say much last week but with her individual style of dressing she didnt really need to. She was the one wearing the bright pinky purple beret.

Shazia is 35 years old one of the oldest contestants and is a Mosaic Artist and Company Director.

Her saying about herself is this "I'm a stubborn cow who wants to have the last word." mmm...Id give her a job and im sure Sir Alan will love her and let her have the last word...not!

I didnt see much of Shazia either last week, it really was just Claire, Nicholas and Alex that stood out.

Sara Dhada is 25 Years old from Leicester.

Every year all the candidates have to have a line how they see themselves and this is hers "I’m a true example of pure class and elegance. I don’t try to be glamorous – I'm just naturally like that." lol!

I found her quite annoying last week, but the first week can always be like that, everyone trying to fight for the limelight.

Claire Young - The Winner of the Apprentice 2008?

Claire Young is 28 years old and is a Senior Retail Buyer.

She was good in the fact that she put herself up for the challenge of being Team Leader last week and Sir Alan likes that. She wasnt great but she did win in the end over the boys and kept quite calm during the challenge.

Claire was really the only woman that stood out last week other than the woman in the background wearing a bright pink beret all the time

Lindi Mngaza is just 22 years old and is a "Business Liason Manager" I do love all these funny titles. She apparently also has "Royal African Blood"

Lindi really cocked up last week by getting to the market to sell the fish and asking what people would give her for it instead of setting a price....thats really a good business brain!

Jennifer Maguire - winner of the Apprentice?

Jennifer Maguire is 27 years old and is a Marketing Consultant....

She is also, wait for it...."The Best Sales Person in Europe"! How she came to that conclusion we have no idea, but you really do have to be a special kind of person to big yourself up that much!

Last week you could see she was really getting on peoples nerves and its only going to get worse.

When you watch The Apprentice, everyone wearing black does look boring.

Cant wait for tonight, will pay much more attention to the jewellery tonight and what taste they have!

Michael Sophocles - Winner of The Apprentice?

Michael Sophocles 25 years old Telesales Executive.

He wasnt very good last week, infact although I couldnt stand Nicholas De Lacy Brown I think Michael should have been taken into the room for that last bit of negotiation selling 135 pounds worth of fish for 50 pounds!

He really did look like he was going to cry on a number of occassions, and that little boy attitude in the board room was sooo funny.

But I suppose it was the first episode and maybe theres more of him to come.

Alex Wotherspooon - Winner of The Apprentice 2008?

Alex Wotherspoon 24 years old is a Regional Sales Manager.

He put himself on the line by putting himself forward for Team Leader after Raef Byayon just couldnt live up to his mouthyness of "Im so great"

Alex wasnt the best team leader but he did keep very calm and did delegate. I think the women quite like Alex and definately think we could see some romance like we did last year with that Katie Hopkins and the Posh Leiutenant.

Alex´s team lost and he came back into the room with Nicholas de Lacy Brown and Raef Bjayon and he was lucky to survive...but Sir Alan always likes people who put themselves forward for Team Leader especially in the first programme.

Nicholas de Lacy Brown - The Apprentice

Nicholas de Lacy Brown just 23 years old and is a Barrister / Artist!

What can I say about Nicholas? lots but unfortunately I cant post it here. Ok so Alex the team leader did actually tell him some of the prices of the fish, but surely he should have know that Lobster was alot more expensive than under 5 pounds! After all - he was "Educated".

As mentioned before here he completely cocked up and you knew that he was going to be fired once he started the "Class issue"

On the show afterwards he looked very different, wasnt too sure on the walking on in the mirrored glasses...yuk...couldnt stand the guy.

Raef Bjayou - Winner of the Apprentice?

Raef Bjayou only 27 years old from North West London is an "Entrepeneur"...well of course he is! He made a real impact on the Apprentice last week.

He reminded me of an Asian Prince Charles....am I allowed to say that? Im not sure what I can or cant say these days.

He was so funny, so cocky but didnt have the confidence to put himself up for Team Leader....."I am a manager, but I only manage myself" was his get out clause.

He has alot of character and could be a posher version of Saied from last year without the swearing.

He managed to cock up the labelling of fish last week, and very narrowly escaped being fired after being pulled into the rum with Nicholas de Lacy Brown and and Alex.

Cant wait for tomorrow.

The Diamond Fanatic

What is it with boys? Theyve always got to have a slice of the cake, a piece of the action, a finger in each pie.

Well seem to have got a little envious of the "Chicks" and now the boys have their own version of The Diamond Chicks, called The Diamond Fanatic.

Its not as good as The Diamond Chicks obviously...but its full of information about Diamonds, cost of Gold, Diamond Weights, where they come from....all serious stuff, whilst the Chicks will keep to the gossipy cheesy stuff where you can continue to post all your comments and thoughts...keeping them clean please!

Im a little disappointed that I see one of the "Chicks" has been posting on the boys Diamond Fanatic, but what does that tell you?
