Then she started shouting Im a Holistic Vocal Coach Im this Im that, Very very scary.

Cheryl was uneasy with her and said, could you stand on the X Please and Ariels face ....well I was scared just looking at her on the tv.

What a complete nutter and obvously didnt get through!

Is Ariel really like that or was that just to get on the best of the worse X Factor.

Sondelle Whittaker X Factor

Sondelle Whittaker walked in and she had something in her style. She sang Stand by you which Cheryl, Louis and Dannii really liked. Simon once again was in his mood and said no to which she poked her tongue out too.

I really liked Cheryl tonight as she really stood up for people who were good.

How far will Sondelle go?

Stuart Mann 29 years old in the Army. He sang and Simon thought he had picked up some really bad habits, but Simon had been in a rather funny mood according to Cheryl.

But 3 of the judges said YES so he is through to boot camp.

I liked him, what did you think?

Laura White X Factor

Laura White from near bolton reminded me of Katie Melua

She said she had been ill with her throat as she had been practising so much. She sant Jocelyn Brown Someone elses guy and was brilliant....well good but you could tell that if she was well she would have been brilliant.

All 4 judges loved here and Simon loved her.

Shes will be around for a while!

4 yes - they are through

Colin Hudgell, Nina Ghosh, Jennifer Lamb, Russell Baines X Factor

4 of the bad ones tonight was

Colin a 59 year old who said he was a singer and entertainer and making his own movie called "Colin". Well he was terrible and a complete waste of time.

Then there was Nina Ghosh who brought on a gorgeous black pug dog which really wooed the judges but her voice was terrrible too. Simon said the dog must have taught her to sing.

Jennifer Lamb a dinner lady - Terrible

Russel Baines brought the paper mache of Simon´s Face. He was a little strange they thought

Scott Bruten X Factor

Well Scott Bruten really wooed the Judges on XFactor Tonight.

Scott just 19 years old is a blue coat at Potins which Simon never really likes but he sang really well.

Louis thought bit old fashioned but good voice, Cheryl really like, Dannii like and Simon really liked him.

He was quite cute, lovely smile, but definately needs a make over with the clothes and hair. I think we may be seeing him for a while!

Week 2 X Factor

Week 2 of X Factor saw some brilliant talent once again and some not so brilliant talent

Cheryl looked fab at points but in her green dress she really was showing her skinnyness. Dannii had her good moments and bad, but she had a lovely black ring on. It was also Cheryls Birthday which was a great clip when she got a present saying I love Simon.

So the good people we saw was Alexandra Burk from London who was in the final 7 in 2005. Only 19 years old and she even made Cheryl Cole cry. Alexandra wearing her large hoop earrings and long gold changes was amazing and got through to Boot Camp.

Then there was RTI, 3 Girls age between 16 and 18 who were brilliant. I really loved them as well as all the judges.

Then GirlBand got through who were also really good.

Marika Beckford 20 years old had an amazing voice and was brilliant.

Liam Payne just 14 years old got through to Boot Camp.

Alan Turner who has caused a lot of controversy in the papers got through, good looking boy but one with the sad story who then turned out to be lieing a little.

Now the Bad Ones...

The funniest had to be Polly the singer at the Holiday Camps. She was mad and that face when she sang gave me the creeps. Great value for entertainment.

Alex Walton was terrible

John Bates 44 - Terrible

The there was Phil Blackwell who was the guy who held his notes for a long time. Simon was hilarious

Sam Webber with the big hair - Terrible.

So Precious - 2 sisters that had been told they were great were just dreadful but very funny.

Got to go to watch week 3.

What did you think of this lot? Leave your comments.

Engagement Ring Found After Magpie Steals It And Buries It In Nest For Three Years!

A platinum diamond engagement ring has been found in a Magpie's nest at the bottom of the garden, three years after it disappeared.

Julie Boaler was taking a shower when the £5,000 pear shaped diamond ring went missing, and explained: "I left it on the bathroom window ledge when i had a shower and it wasn't there when i returned."

"I thought it must have fallen in the bathroom or even fell out of the window but it was a complete mystery.

"I was heartbroken .... and Justin was not best pleased either".

The couple searched high and low, even ripping up the lino of the bathroom floor, but in the end had to give up the search.

Three years on, the couple were tidying up the garden in preparation for moving house, when the magpie nest was found.

The couple are still engaged, with plans to marry soon. They have now insured the ring!

Kate Moss Immortalised In Gold

There are not many celebrities that could behave like Kate Moss and be rewarded with a solid gold iconic portrayal of themselves on display within the British Museum; but that is exactly what has happened to the inimitable Kate Moss.

The £1.5m solid gold statue, titled Siren, was created by Marc Quinn as part of the Statuephilia exhibition at The British Museum. It weighs 50kg, and is said to be the largest gold statue to be made in the world since the time of Ancient Egypt.
Quinn described Moss as "the ideal beauty of the moment", and someone who had "captured the spirit of an age".
Kate Moss has been a favourite among artists since her career began, almost twenty years ago. Perhaps most famously, Lucian Freud's famous nude portrait sold for £3.9 million in 2005.
The statue goes on show at the museum from October 4 to January 25. The exhibition will also feature work by contemporary artists including Damien Hirst and Antony Gormley.

Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi Get Married

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have officially married in a private ceremony within the grounds of their home, in front of just 19 close friends and family.

The intimate ceremony was led by Dr Wayne Dyer, a well known american personal development guru, and included personally written vows. The venue was filled with candles and flowers, whilst the couple sat on floor cushions. It sounds like it was a very romantic and personal ceremony.

Portia de Rossi looked absolutely gorgeous in a light pink dress by Zac Posen, while Ellen wore a white trouser suit by the same designer.

The couple exchanged rings designed by Neil Lane, who has also designed diamond engagement rings for Madonna, Reese Witherspoon and a host of other celebs.
I think it's great that they've been able to formalise their relationship in this way, and i'm sure it's a step forward for the gay marriage movement.

Jade Goody - Cervical Cancer

Today I turned on the news to see that Jade Goody has Cervical Cancer.

Now, obviously this could be true and Jade Goodey could have Cervical Cancer. It happens to many many women and just because Jade Goodey is in the spotlight doesnt make her immune.

But....shes just gone into the Big Brother House in India where she caused a HUUUUUUGEEE uproar with racism when she was in the UK Big Brother House with Shilpa Shetty etc and then she gets this news whilst in there.

These publicity people are very very clever at making things up or twisting the truth to make people feel differently about people who havent been too good in the past.

If she does have Cervical Cancer then we, The Diamond Chicks wishes her a fast recovery, if she doesnt then I wouldnt be surprised, put it that way.

What do you think? True or just another publicity stunt

Alexandra Davies X Factor -

Alexandra Davies was beautiful. Not the greatest singer they had but she was good and she looked the part. Alexandra wasnt very confident and Simon said she needs to beleive in herself more. Mind - Im not surprised she a little down as she comes from Bridgend in Wales where many suicides have taken place with young people. Its a terrible thing thats happening there.

But Alexandra held it together and sang and she got through. Even Cheryl Cole said - shes cute.

Alexandra Davies got through to Boot Camp along with Aimee Hargreaves, Rachel Hylton, Maron McKenzie, Andrew Bridge and a few more.

XFactor 2008 - First Show Cheryl Cole

Wow, what a first show. Lots of emotion, drama, acting, pretending, but fantastic.
I have to say, I keep thinking - "How did Cheryl Cole get to be a judge"? But Simon Cowell runs this thing and he is not a schmock. He knows exactly what he is doing and Im not the only one thinking this and this is what he wants. He wants people constantly talking about XFactor and thats what he gets.
Cheryl looked stunning in the 100s of outfits she seemed to get through in that first show aired on TV on Saturday. I think the nicest she looked was with her stripy top and hair back. Shes got such a small face and beautiful, its sometimes a little too big the hair.
She changes her watch as many times as her earrings. Loved the large square Ruby Colour Ring she was wearing and then she also wore a large square yellow gemstone ring. What a range of outfits, styles and colours she has. Just makes me think Im really drab and boring.
Anyway lets get to the X Factor Applicants, the great ones and the complete nutcases.
Lets do the nutters first...
Dreamtime. Girl and boy 17 from Huddersfield and Canada - weird! They really thought they were great and especially that he had already sold about 180 cds. Hilarious.
Vicky Maxted. 17 year old girl, sang my heart will go on and was completely dreadful.
Rita Brigotta - The Madonna/Marilyn Monroe look a like - awful, dreadful, rubbish.
Symmetry - Hilariosly bad.
Mark Gartside - The Church Worker - Mental!
Ant & Seb - The best of the worst had to be Ant & Seb. 2 Boys singing Mysterious Girl. One sang whilst the other kind of said a word here and there. Tony the Security Guard had to come and remove them from the stage. It was so bad. But you know they are going to make that X Factor DVD!
Now for the best ones...
Rachel Hylton - Just outstanding singing Amy Winehouse.
Marlon McKenzie - Brilliant - All judges loved him.
Andrew Bridge - Brilliant.
Aimee Hargreaves - Brilliant
Alexandra Davies - What a beautiful girl - probably the one with the least interesting voice but she was a lovely girl.
Chaos - 4 17 year old girls - Brilliant!
Shauna Buckingham - Brilliant!
JLS - 4 Boys which the judges all loved.
What did you think of the first show and Cheryl? Leave a comment.

Rachel Hylton X Factor - Rachael Hilton X Factor

Rachel Hylton

This Girl is Rachel Hylton and well I think she will be around for a while now. She was in the first show of XFactor 2008 and the one with abit of a sob story. You know every year they put that music on and theres always a story of someone who nearly died or something!

Well Rachel is 26 and has 5 Children. She had her first at just 13 years old and the first couple got taken into care as she got herself into a number of problems incurring drugs. She even did time in prison.

Shes changed her life around and wants to make a future for her and her children and want them to be proud of her.

Well she sang and was AMAZING. She sang Amy Winehouse and was just incredible. This girl is going to go far. Im sure there will be discussions as to whether or not she deserves it after going to prison and all the other stuff - but surely it shows that people can change their lives around.

What did you think about Rachel? - Leave a comment.

Watch out for all the other great singers that got through like Aimee Hargreaves, Marlon McKenzie, JSL, Alexandra Davies - All brilliant

Cheryl Cole - X Factor

Girls Aloud star Cole has replaced for Sharon Osbourne, who quit after series four.
“We weren't friends. We weren't always fighting but Sharon made it clear that she didn't like me, so she won't be missed. Not by me,” Minogue said in the Daily Telegraph, "I thought she loved the show, but she must have felt it was her time to leave. It seemed maybe she was just a bit unhappy. The new line-up works brilliantly."

Danni also told the Radio Times: "Everybody's jumping on me going, 'What's Cheryl like? Are you two fighting yet?' Well, I've only had a few days of filming with her so far, so let's wait and see... It'll be interesting to see how she handles it."

BBC News has quoted Cherl saying "It's a massive honour to be following in the footsteps of Sharon Osbourne," she said. "The rest of the girls have said they're right behind me, which is really important for me as it will be weird to be on the other side of the fence this time. So whilst we get started on the next album, it will be brilliant to be a judge on The X Factor."

The new job should take the 24-year-old singer's mind off her marriage despair- her husband, Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole, had an alleged alliance with a hairdresser previously this year but the couple are believed to be looking for a resolution.

Matthew McConaughey Plants Baby's Placenta

Matthew McConaughey has confirmed his hippie status by announcing that he's going to bury his new baby's placenta in his orchard.

Aparently, the idea came to him following a trip to Australia. "When I was in Australia, they had a placenta tree that was on the river......and all the placentas of all that tribe, all that clan, whatever Aboriginal tribe that was, all the placentas went under that one tree and it was this huge behemoth of just health and strength."

The idea of planting a placenta is one that has been around for a long time, not only in Aboriginal culture, but also in other cultures. The Maori believe that planting the placenta reinforces our bond with the earth, as do the native Hawaiians, the Navajo, and the Costa Ricans. There can be no denying that it is extremely nutritious for the soil, and seems a more poetic way of dealing with the placenta when compared to the incinerator found in most western hospitals!

Giving birth in the West has become such a clinical event that it's great to see celebrities promoting this a more natural approach.

It seems that burying the placenta is becoming more popular in the UK, with placenta-planting ceremonies being considered an appropriately symbolic way of marking the arrival of a new child.

Who Keeps The Engagement Ring When The Relationship Breaks?

I seem to be hearing lots of debate at the moment about what should happen to engagement rings when a relationship breaks up. Should the wearer keep the ring, or should it be returned to the person who paid for it?

Some say that an engagement ring is an unconditional gift, and that a woman is not obliged to return it if the engagement is broken. It is like any other gift, which once given belongs to the person who has received it - no matter how much it cost, or how upset the person who paid for it is!

However, there are those that believe an engagement ring is not like any other gift, but is actually conditional upon the marriage of the two partners. Therefore, if the marriage doesn't take place, the ring should be returned to the person who gave and paid for it.

In the US, the law regarding this subject varies between states. Some, such as New York, treat the engagement ring as a conditional gift, whereas others, such as Montana, believe a gift is a gift, and it's tough luck if the relationship doesn't work out!

There are those that believe that the person who calls off the engagement is the one who forfeits any right to the engagement ring. However, this is getting into murky territory as relationship break-ups are never straight forward in terms of blame and responsibility, so the person who actually calls off the engagement may not necessarily be the person responsible for the break up in terms of their behaviour.

I personally think that there is no black and white answer to the question of who should keep the engagement ring. What may be right for one couple, will not be for another. For example, in the case of one party behaving very badly, such as having an affair or affairs, i think they should forfeit any right to the ring, and the innocent party should at least benefit in some way from either selling the ring or having the satisfaction of throwing it into the sea! In a 'friendly' break up situation, the ring wearer may decide it is fair to return the ring, or the two of them may decide to sell it and give the money to charity, for example.

If a woman has behaved badly towards her partner, and insists on keeping the ring for either financial reasons or simply because she likes the piece of jewellery, then this, i believe, is unforgivable. She should return the ring!

Andy from Rapstrap Dragons Den

Wow what a tense moment that was for Andy on Dragons Den tonight. Andy owns Rapstrap which is a new type of Cable Tie.

This cable tie is removable and reusable - so very eco friendly!

James and Duncan joined forces once again and offered 150,000 but they wanted 50% of the business.

After a few tense minutes and a couple of the other dragons also saying they they cant better the offer and they should take what James and Duncan have offered - Andy took it.

It goes hand in hand with their other business from Dragons Den "The Choc Box"

Its fantastic to see ideas from the Dragons Den become reality.

I even saw the "I Teddy" being advertised the other day and straight away thought "Dragons Den"

Rob Hall - Dragons Den and David & Robert Hall

Well the saying "if something sounds too good to be true, it generally is" certainly was true in Dragons Den tonight

Rob Hall came along with his dad asking for investment in him becoming in Formula One. Needing 50,000 pounds and the dragon would get 50% of advertising on the car.

Well it was amazing that they said he would give 40% of his earnings away too over the next 10 years. All dragons were quite amazed that he was prepared to do this.

Oh yes, because further along the line, it came out that he wont earn anything!

So 40% of nothing is......NOTHING!

Great Deal!

Joss Stone - To play Henry VIII's fourth wife

Grammy(R)-Winning Soul Chanteuse Joss Stone Joins the Cast for the Third Season of Showtime's THE TUDORS.

Joss will star in three episodes playing Anne of Cleves, Henry VIII's (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) fourth wife.
Having chosen to marry Anne on the strength of a flattering portrait, Henry was disappointed to find that the German maid wasn't a looker. The marriage only lasted six months before it was annulled, much to the King's delight.
Joss hasnt been put off by the prospect of having to play ugly in her determination to break into Hollywood.

G'luck Joss! Ps love the Amethyst ring! The Diamond Store have one exactly like it! ( and even prettier ones! ;) )

Eastenders - Mitchell Family

What a night for the Eastenders gang!
Talk about family conflict! Only in the Mitchell house can things get so heated and intense! I'm starting to love Sean though - he makes me laugh with all his amusing comments breaking the tension - his cheekiness! OK OK i do fancy him a bit!

Anyways Archie saves the day, he talks to Phil man to man, lets him in on a few home truths and becomes the knight in shing armour, while his sweet angel announces that the wedding is back on, much to Ronnies dismay - I do feel bad for her...I just wanted to give her a hug when she was standing by the window crying, ever so helpless.
Even when she cries she looks so elegant, her bright hoop earrings and miserable face - quite the contrast - Love u ronnie ( and Sean!!! :) )

Shirley & Phil - Eastenders

I can feel the romance could be starting again between Shirley & Phil. Shes helping little Ben and getting quite involved.

The other little giveaway could be that Bobby Davro is tipped to be appearing in Im a Celebrity - which means he may be leaving or written out for a while, allowing Phil & Shirley to get it on.

Shirley is growing on me, she looks so hard and scary but quite a character. I wonder if she will ever get a make over and become just a nice looking person.

Bar Rafaeli Necklace in Marbella

This is Bar Rafaeli. Bar is talk of the Marbella Town at the moment as she was there attending a party by Chopard Jewellers.

Bar is the girlfriend of Leonardo Di Caprio which is why she is causing more of a storm. I cannot beleive she was only born in 1985! I feel so old.
Bar looks stunning in this white dress and is also wearing a beautiful Diamond & Sapphire Necklace which really finishes off.
Theres even more gossip that apparently they (Bar & Leonardo) are finished as he was nowhere to be seen...but its only rumours.

Sienna & Balthazar

They say what goes around comes around and that seems to be the gossip surround Sienna Miller at the moment.

Sienna was having a relationship with Oil Millionaire Balthazar Getty who is married and has 4 children by his wife Rosetta.

Rumour has it that he has been seen back with his wife and has left Sienna for her now. They could have just been having a conversation about separating and whats best for the children but you know tabloids - need to make mountains out of molehills - is that correct - I always get my sayings muddled up.

Kelly Brooke - Speaking on Mobile whilst Driving

Kelly Brook is the latest celeb to be fined for talking on her mobile whilst driving. She apparently balled her eyes out and was very very apologetic and embarrased by the whole thing.

What I love is when you read other articles about the same story, they say Kelly Brook - the former presenter of the Big Breakfast Show - come on that was like 15 years ago now!!!

Im sure Kelly Brook will pay her fine and accept her points and she will never speak on her mobile again...she seems too nice.

Reese Witherspoon & Jake Gyllenhaal

I love Reese Witherspoon and just love Legally Blonde. Such a brilliant film.

Reese is getting married again in December to Jake who is also an actor if you havent heard of him. Jake was the guy in Brokeback Mountain...obviously not the one that took his own life a while back.

Hes 27 whilst she is 32 with 2 kids from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe.

Congratulations Reese!

Gorgeous Jewellery Gifts For New Mums

Giving birth is one of the most intense, amazing and exhausting experiences in a woman’s life, and there can be no other day when a woman is more deserving of a very special gift!

Jewellery has traditionally been used to mark the birth of a child within many cultures, for many years. A piece of jewellery is something that can be worn every day, and cherished as a reminder of the person who gave it and the sentiments with which it was given.

One of the most symbolic gifts for a new mother is a diamond eternity ring. This is the perfect way for a new father to express his love for, and empathy with, his partner following the birth of a first child. The ring symbolizes the endurance of the couple’s love, which has been unified by the birth of a first child. If you had to leave the delivery room or fainted at the birth, this is THE gift to win back brownie points and ensure all is forgiven!

Of course, a diamond eternity ring is not within everybody’s budget, and especially so at a time when there are so many things to buy for the new arrival. There are many smaller value jewellery items that will be equally adored and appreciated by new mums, such as a simple diamond pendant or a pair of diamond stud earrings.

A lovely way to mark the arrival of a baby is to buy a piece of gemstone jewellery containing the birthstone of the child. New mums will love wearing any item that carries this meaning and connection to their child. Check the birthstone chart for more information regarding which month relates to which gemstone.

How Will The Credit Crunch Affect Our Spending Habits?

It is true to say that nearly all of us are feeling the pinch of the global credit crunch. You just have to stroll around one of the country’s shopping centres to notice that everywhere is becoming eerily quiet.

A shift in the economic climate inevitably brings with it a shift in consumer values. Over the last decade we have become (for want of a better expression) a throw away society. Quantity has gradually taken precedence over quality and we have all become obsessed with constant renewal albeit televisions or t-shirts. As a consequence of the credit crunch, people are being forced to realise that having more doesn’t necessarily result in fulfilment. In fact, people are going back to basics and are starting take on board the financial values of their grandparents era, long before we all became consumed by consumerism.

So if its back to basics, does that mean that will be shunning luxury products as part of our Spartan lifestyle?

On the contrary, since people are going to be thinking more about the long term future and less about the immediate future, I predict a return to luxury goods. During an economic crisis people are less likely to be frivolous and more sentimental. I use the word sentimental in the sense that when they make purchases, they are not only going to be driven by their own desires but that are going to be sensible and consider its usage for future generations.

This is particularly the case with jewellery. Whereas before a woman might have opted for gemstone rings in every colour to match every outfit she will now invest in one special diamond ring instead that goes with everything. Women on the high street have been squandering hundreds every season on costume jewellery to keep up with the ever changing trends. It is the type of jewellery that breaks or tarnishes after a few wears. Even if it doesn’t it will be worn for a handful of times then cast aside to make way for the next trend. Over the duration of a year such frivolous jewellery shopping adds up with nothing of value to show for it and especially nothing to pass down as an heirloom. Which is why in today’s current climate, women are considering their jewellery choices wisely. Instead they are opting for a classic pair of diamond earrings that can be worn elegantly in any season with any outfit. They are so timeless that they will not only be enjoyed by you for years to come but also future generations.

Although the initial investment is considerably higher than the average piece of costume jewellery from the high street, in cost per wear terms, you are spending less on a real treasure that will ultimately become an heirloom as its value just cannot be compared. So although the credit crunch brings with it a change in consumer mentality perhaps it will finally encourage people to get into the habit of spending their money wisely on one or two luxury products instead of frittering it away with little to show for it.
