Kylie Receives French Honour

Kylie Minogue has been awarded the Order of Arts and Letters, France's highest cultural award, in recognition of the pleasure she has given to French people.

The French Culture Minister, Christine Albanel, said that she was a "Midas of the international music scene who turns everything she touches into gold". Kylie was also praised for the courage she has shown in her battle against breast cancer.

I think it's great that she's been recognised in this way. She might not be the world's greatest singer, but she is one of the best performance artists, and her shows are fantastic. She really does bring a lot of pleasure to a lot of people, and i'm sure she's inspired many with her grace and determination in the face of cancer.

Kylie started her world tour in Paris on Tuesday, and arrives in the UK at the end of June, where she performs in Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and London.

Posh who has been quoted to say "It's tough being a footballer's wife and a pop star,” has made it to the cover of Vogue!!

Victoria Beckham has joined the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and Keira Knightley.

She looks absolutely wonderful, adorned in jewelry - big chunky bracelets, an exquisite diamond ring and diamond studd earrings - The new cover girl looks the certainly part!

Wow, its been along time since blogging.....just been so busy. Its been the summer holidays with kids everywhere including in my home so not been getting much work done...but soon The Diamond Chicks will be back to normal.



So, a little while ago it was Heidi Klum with her Clover Jewellery, but now Celine Dion, a name that hasnt been around much....oh how us Diamond Chicks loved her ballards. Near....Far....My Heart will go on....yes yes, The Diamond Chicks would have definately sang that Titanic Song at Karaoke once in their little lives!!!

But Celine Dion, now has a Jewellery Range with Yang Lan a very famous Chinese Host, and it will be called HV Love. The website isnt quite finished but when it is I think it could be worth a look. Theres a few piccies of jewellery, diamond rings, bracelets and it looks very nice and quite unusual. Theres going to be quite a bit if Diamond Jewellery including Diamond Engagement Rings and other little pressies for the ladies.

I had to wait for the exclusive pictures in OK Magazine to see what dress and Diamond Jewellery Alex Curran was wearing.

The dress was beautiful, designed by Elie Saab was made with metres and metres of satin and tulle and 19,000 crystals. Thats a lot of crysta.s

Her Engagement ring was very similar to this one



And she wore some beautiful large diamonds studs.

Some of the other wags there were Joanna taylor Murphy who used to be in Hollyoaks, Louise Redknapp, Louise Owen, Sheree Murphy and lots more.

Anthea Turner Diamond Earrings

I have an awful cold at the moment, infact, I feel Ive been unwell for months. I have so much to do, but last night I did nothing but veg in front of the telly.

I watched Anthea Turner, "How to be the perfect housewife" which of course I am already!!! Anthea wears the strangest clothes sometimes. She was wearing jeans with a corduroy skirt on top, it looked really stupid. The only thing that didnt look stupid were some huge Diamond Stud Earrings and matching pendent.

Then we watched about Cherie Blair. She really has had a hard time with the press, when I think shes actually really nice.

Regardless of whether Tony Blair was right or wrong in some of his decissions, you could picture yourself sitting down with Tony and Cherie for dinner and probably having quite a laugh. Bit more than say with Magaret Thatcher or John Major. They are really just normal people who happened to be Prime Minister.

Loose Women...no the Programme I mean

Sometimes during the afternoon I catch a quick glimpse of Loose Women on ITV at lunchtime.

These woman really know how to accessorize.

All of the 4 presenters are covered in Jewellery, mainly costume jewellery but sometimes the odd bit of Diamond Jewellery.


Big necklaces, earrings, rings sometimes on nearly every finger, bracelets.



Jackie Brambles is looking better and better as she is getting old.



Even Chris Evans´ wife Carol has really changed over the past year or so and wearing big long beaded necklace and lots of rings.

Its seems the more the better!

Penny Lancaster´s Engagement Ring

More weddings, Penny Lancaster & Rod Stewart got married in a very quiet and low key ceremony in Italy.

You can see the ring in this picture, its a lovely ring, looks like just a single very very large square stone. My kind of ring...hint hint!!!

I hope this marriage lasts longer than his marriage to Rachel Hunter. They all look alike to me!

Rod Stewart is one of those singers, that you think, im not too sure i like his music and songs, but when you actually hear all of them, they are great. He is a fantastic singer and entertainer.

Thats reminded me, I wanted to go get his album.

John Terry & Toni Pool Wedding Ring

What a lot of weddings, I was only talking about John Terry a couple of weeks ago when I spotted him on Holiday in Vale Do Lobo.

So he was the first to get married on Friday to his long term girlfriend Toni Poole at the Beautiful Blenheim Palce in Woodstock. I know its beautiful there as I went to a wedding there a few years ago and it was the most beautiful place I had been to. Apparently it cost nearly 1 million pounds although they did a deal with OK Magazine, hence the reason we have no photos to show you.

I really think that some of these people are going to regret selling to these Magazines. I just read Jordans Book about her getting married and it sounds awful. You just cannot enjoy your day.

Lots of footballers and they´re girlfriends turned up including Jamie & Louise Rednap and Ashley Cole.

Cant wait to see the ring! Rumours that some of the wedding was a little tacky looking, I hope this doesnt apply to the ring!

Cameron Diaz Jewellery

I just love Cameron Diaz, shes so funny when she talks and never seems upherself like some filmstars can.

Today she was in London for the Shrek 3 Premiere. She was wearing a black and white dress, really large hoop earrings, a massive bracelet which was like spikey along with a huge round silver ring and chewing chewing gum whilst being interviewed.

Her hair was just normal, like shes just put it in a pony tail herself. She did look like she had a bit of a cold as her eyes really seemed a bit puffy.

Justin Timberlake was there too, and to be honest, he seemed a little distracted when interviewed on Sky News. Him and Cameron were an item for 3 years and have since split up. But he just wasnt with it. Justin was wearing his own style, shirt, with tie and bomber jacket.

George Michael & Diamond Skull

What a week for George Michael. Went to court, played at Wembley and is now in the news again for thinking of buying a 50 million pound Diamond Skull.

The Skull was apparently bought in North London by Damien Hurst the Artist and is thought to be 18th century

The Skull is covered in 8,601 diamonds, thats alot of diamonds and not one was bought from The Diamond Store.

George Michael is a big fan of Damien Hurst and is an avid art collector and already has some to the value of 100 million pounds.

Bitten by Sarah Jessica Parker

Another famous person taking to the designer room. At the moment designing clothes and there are some Bitten Jewellery for the English or Jewelry for the Americans Bits.

Sarah Jessica Parker, who once was The Diamond Chicks idol. We used to watch every week Sarah Jessica Parker as the great Carrie in Sex in the City.

Every week we used to meet up at someones house and if we couldnt make it then we used to be on the phone to one another whilst watching it....oh those were the days.

Mr Big, Charlotte and all that sex....it was the best thing on telly.

Anyway, SJP has done the perfume thing, called Beautiful, which I was bought for Christmas, and it is very nice I must say.

The Range is called Bitten and its really really cheap. Its quite a young style, I can see a bit of Gap style in it. Its really cheap, all about 5 to 20 dollars....really really cheap.

So lets see how it goes!

Victoria Beckhams at Glamour Awards

Wow, Im not too sure if she looks amazing or starting to get tips from Jordan! No, she looks amazing.

Victoria Beckham won 2 awards the other day at the Glamour Awards. 1 for Entrepreneur and one for Woman of the Year Award. The Diamond Chicks have always liked Victoria Beckham. She always gets slated and we really arent too sure why. She was alot more famous before David!

Shes designing Sun Glasses, Jeans, Perfume,a mum of 3 and wife to David. Shes doing pretty well from being a Spice Girl which was one of the best groups in the world and was the start of the future of girl bands.

Dont know how she was to sit down and eat in that outfit....I couldnt, when I sit down to eat, all buttons & zips have to be undone so my food can go in nicely allowing my belly to expand! Thats right girls, I may be a Diamond Chick, but Im just a normal girl. Got to be comfortable.

Jordan and Peters Rings

Peter and Jordan, what are they like!

I keep getting ropped in to watching their fly on the wall documentary. So far Peters been in hospital really ill with Menegitis, Katie Price / Jordan is heavily pregnant.

I dont know what it is but Katie just seems so unsincere....She really does love him but I think its the tone of her voice that makes her sound unsincere.

She is a very very clever girl. Much cleverer than Peter. Peter does seem a little, well, dense. Katie, just knows all the ultimate put downs, she is so funny.

Peter went out testing fast cars last night, apparently wearing Katies jeans and a huge Pave Diamond Ring. It was huge. Katies Ring is also HUGE, a huge big square diamond ring. They really like to be noticed these two in all ways. If you have a look here you can get a peek of their rings

In the car last night she was taking all her make-up off, and she looked amazing. I think she is a really insecure person under the act, because she is so attractive, but she has to pretend to be the porn star all the time.

I would love to see Katie just natural in nice normal clothes. Not looking like, well, I dont have any words for it really.

Kate & Lily Argument

Oh its all going off as it does between women.



Apparently, well according to Sky News, Lily Allen who is now designing clothes for New Look has slagged off Kate Moss whos designing for Top Shop.



Lily Allen can be quite a little mouthy thing according to the tabloids and she has apparently said that Kate Moss Clothes are only for skinny perfect girls and that she will not be buying them.



Whilst Lily, who has been unhappy in the past with her body, has designed clothes that anyone can wear, especially if you are unhappy around the hip and thigh area.



She has said that that is why she wears dresses alot to hide her bad areas.



Oh girls, maybe we should all just stick to what we know best!

Madonna Jewellery at Hennes

This week was Kate Moss at Top Shop, the clothes finally went on sale, lots and lots of hype, and you were only allowed to buy 5 items.

I saw Madonnas Clothes at Hennes a few weeks ago when it came out, to be honest, Im not too sure. It was a little strange and not what you would expect from Madonna.

It was very 80s, silky fabrics gold, white and black. It didnt do anything for me. The only thing that was quite nice was the leather bomber jacket, but I recently bought a very nice one from Elle so wasnt going to buy Madonnas.

So Madonna has now done practically everything, fashion designing, shes a singer, actress, written books, all she needs now is her Madonna Jewellery range like Heidi Klums.

Kate Moss Jewellery

So this week Kate Moss Clothing went on Sale at Top Shop. There was so much hype, however, I must say, it did look good.

My favourite was the little denium shorts, white tshirt and waistcoat.

But shes hasnt really invented anything. Its just the outfits that she wears anyway - but wears them very well.

So Heidi Klum has her own jewellery out now which is Clover Jewellery. Do you think Kate Moss will be bringing her own out?

Im sure it wont be long before she has the whole lot and I think it will sell too. We cant wait for Kate Moss Jewellery.

Kirsten Dunst Engagement & Wedding

Kirsten Dunst is a funny one....I have heard of her in the past as I recently wrote about her being on Jonathan Ross show, but I never really knew who she was.

She really could be someone that lives next door to you and you would never know. Shes just got one of those faces where she can look, well, plain, normal but then amazing when done up and completely different each time. Its quite cool actually.

Because of Spiderman shes everywhere at the moment and recently said on Sky News that when she marries her boyfriend Johnny Borrell from Razorlight she would like a small secluded beach wedding with just her family and close friends around.

LaKisha Jones Jewellery - American Idol

LaKisha really has transformed herself. Most of the time she does look amazing, especially when she got to wear all those beautiful diamonds.

Her voice is amazing and I think she has maybe a little bit more of an edge than Melinda but I still think that Jordin Sparks is the good all round American Idol.


Im not too sure about the person that dresses this guys...sometimes I just find the fashion, well, not very fashionable. Maybe its because Im English and sometimes we just dont get the Americans...do we and vice versa.

Ahhhh Melinda, Melinda Doolittle, with that surprised look as Simon Says!

She is really "Sweet" isnt she. Is it just me or has she no neck? Im sorry, but last week she had a different wig on which was straight hair and came just past her shoulders.....she looked the best ever.

The voice is amazing and if it was solely on the voice the Melinda Doolittle has to win, but, Im not too sure she really has the "XFactor", do you know what I mean?

Now I know I say im a little disappointed with American Idol, but im going to move the goal posts....im a little disappointed with the Men, Chris, Phil and Blake.

Jordin Sparks is just 17 years old...incredible voice for 17. With her hair curly, you know its Jordin, its her personality with the big hoop earrings and then she completely changes when her her is straight. Beautiful either way though.

The other night I was watching one of my favourite programmes on TV....Johnathon Ross on Friday Night.

He just makes me laugh so much, he is soo cheeky and as if hes got a bit of terets...soo soo funny.

Anyway....Superman is everywhere at the moment along with Kirsten Dunst I was really surprised with what she was wearing....a very pale dress with her pale skin....she just looked invisible. She didnt even have a necklace or bracelet on to bring a bit of life to her. The only thing she was wearing was 1 ring which didnt make any statement but...it was on the new fashionable finger.

Oh yes girls....the new finger to wear rings on is your finger next to your thumb...so is that your 1st finger or your 4th finger....oh I dont know....the one next the the thumb. you know which one.

The other day my fingers were changing in size again so had to wear my beautiful Blue Topaz Ring on that finger...then my sister-in-law saw it and said....oh you are up with the fashion then...thats the new finger!

We have an engagement....

Amy Winehouse, one of the most fantastic singers in a long time is engaged to her boyfriend Blake Fielder.

She apparently made him wait 24 hours for an answer after he gave her the diamond engagement ring from Tiffany. I think its about time people took time over their answers when someone proposes...all too often they´re divorced before they´re even married.

I cant wait to see what her wedding is going to be like, shes such a rebel, anything could happen.

Im sure it will be one noone will forget in a hurry....but keep that fantastic music coming Amy, you are one of the most talented young unique singers in a long time.

Marbella Belles Jewellery

Oh my, what a sight, the Marbella Belles.

I wouldnt mind if everyone I knew who is in Marbella was like that, but they´re not. Honestly!

These woman are on a different planet.

Its all about what they have, clothes, jewellery, cars etc etc. Some want to work, some need to work and some, well just happy living of her husbands millions and never working again!

A couple of weeks ago, Louise Marriott who is the one who does the nails in Posh (which shes says stands for Pxxxxx off Stressed and Hormonal) was wearing a Cartier Bracelet estimated at 100,000 euros given to her by her boyfriend Jeff. She didnt have a clue how much it was worth apparently until "Barbs", Marbella Belle from next door, runs Madhatters Cafe, told her.

I wonder if we will ever hear proper Marbella Bells for Barbs - will she ever find her man?

Celebrity Break -Ups and their Engagement Rings

Im very very worried that The Diamond Chicks are doomed!

Everytime we seem to write about a Celebrity that maybe getting engaged or married they break up!!! Its terrible, what is going on. Its all that strain of being in the spotlight, its a hard life out there.

So far Jemima Khan & Hugh Grant have split up, although theres rumours going around that they are trying to re-patch things up. Come on guys, it would be so nice to see you both together. Might keep your mind of Liz too!

And then at the weekend, Prince William and Kate Middleton. What a shame, she seemed so lovely, but we will see how lovely she is if she ever sells her story....Kate...prove everyone wrong and keep it to yourself.

Imagine knowing through your life, how you earnt your money....by talking about someone elses personal life. Some girls obviously dont mind earning money that way and I can think of quite a few....I have to say I cannot stand them - especially one in particular, but you will have to figure out who she is for yourself.

Im not surprised they broke up, what a life and they werent even engaged yet let alone married and already the press are following her around just like they did with Princess Diana. Its history repeating.

So we still have Billie Piper, Kate Moss , Myleene klass and Bradd Pitt & Angelina Jolie.

Kerry Katona who recently got married in Gretna Green to Husband Mark has now decided that she wished she had a big huge doo...so shes doing it all over again in Spain. Apparently in Villa Tiberio Restaurant which is in Marbella....ahh I knew I had something to write about....Marbella Belles....Im off ....bye

So, Madonna is designing clothes for Hennes, Kate Moss is designing clothes for Top Shop, Victoria Beckham has her own jeans and label, Kylie has her own Perfume and this little Diamond Chick has her own blog!

One of the latest is model Heidi Klum, who is designing jewellery. Her latest range is her second jewelry line and the pieces are of a clover. She was inspired by her trip to Milan in Italy, and thought its a wonderful piece to give to people as present because it represents a good luck sign.

Myleenes Engagement Ring & Wedding

Myleene Klass came across so nice when she starred in Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

She was just a really nice, caring person. After seeing her breakdown on national tv, I did think she had a lot of problems and was going down hill, but shes pulled herself back up, put on some weight and now she looks absolutely amazing.

Starting this week were the Marks and Spencers adverts starring Myleene along with Twiggy, once again looking amazing in her swimming costume! Im sure all you men out there remember the bikini we are talking about!

And as if thats enough, this weeks its also been announced that she is pregnant and getting married to her partner Graham Quinn who was once her bodyguard. But she is going to wait until their baby is born before squeezing into the wedding dress.

Dame Edna´s Rings & Jewellery

How funny was Dame Edna the other night. I have seen her in soooo long I forgot how funny the show was.

And the guests just didnt seem to know how to take Edna - that was even funnier. Ronnie Corbetts bit was brilliant.

What about the jewellery, how big were those rings and how many was she wearing? I think she had a gemstone ring on every finger.

So rumours have leaked out that everyone knows what Wayne Rooney is going to buy Coleen for her 21st Birthday at the end of this month.

And I am going to add to that....aparently his is buying her a 200k Diamond Ring by Chopard. It is 10 carat though!

Coleen McLoughlin really has come far and done well for herself.

So lots of rumours around whether or not Billie Piper is getting engaged or not to Laurence Fox.

But if and when she does, is she really the type to wear a diamond engagement ring....Im not too sure.

We watched her last night on Top Gear and she is so lovely, regardless of all the good and bad press she gets.

She said that she exchanged her brand her flashy car that Chris Evans once bought her for 3 old fashioned ones.

I think I could see the same happen with a diamond engagement ring. I think she could go for something more meaningful and older / antique rather than new. But lets see.

Diamond Shoes worn by Dream Girl!

Now girls, if you have loose diamonds lyeing around the house, like most of us have, and you fancy doing abit of art and craft and feel a little creative, then then you could stick them to a pair of old shoes just like shoe designer Stuart Weitzman’s who is supplying some pretty spectacular accessories for this year’ Oscars.

Annika from the new musical movie Dreamgirls (which is loosely based on the career of Diana Ross and the Supremes), is walking down the red carpet in a pair of skyscraper heels held on by two clear straps studded with hundreds of hand set diamonds.

Now I couldnt even bring myself to wear a pair of 200 dollar shoes, with the way I walk, not to mention how many heels I have actually broken including getting them caught in a the drains whilst walking down the street, so imagine wearing shoes that have a retail value of around $2,000,000.

Mind you, she will be walking on the red carpet!

Wags Boutique and their Jewellery

Oh no...I did it again, I watched that Wags Boutique with all the wannabies.

Its awful, some of them are just so fowl mouthed its unbelievable. Then you have one shop I think its "Better Half" with one of the girls called Cassie who is the ex girlfriend of Michael Essien (plays for Chelsea - if you didnt know), she just constantly needs attention and every week is in the paper with another kiss and tell about her ex boyfriend footballer.

One of them got engaged, the blonde one with the squeaky voice, Charlotte Meares aka Mrs Jermain Defoe. She just constantly showed off her new diamond engagement ring that was a large square diamond like the one above but times the price by about 30! 63,000 pounds apparently!

The girl with long dark hair, I think her name is Michaela, she was wearing really large ruby colour earrings.

What did seem to be very popular amongst the some of the "Wags" were Diamond Stud Earrings.

Julie Phillips (wife of Kevin Phillips), Heather Swain and even June Sarpong was wearing them. And I must say, June Sarpong looked the best she has looked in ages. She looked so great last night with her hair completely swept back with a long pony tail with her diamond stud earrings sparkling.

Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan Split Up!

Shock...Horror...only the other day we were saying what a nice couple they make!

Weell hot off the press...it seems like Hugh and Jemima are no more.

apparently he gave her a beautiful sapphire and diamond ring a few weeks ago which led us all to believe that something was going on...

but Jemima has stated that they are no longer togaether and Hugh was pictured on his own returning from abroad.

A source close to the couple said that Hugh's old flame Liz Hurley was to blame.

"Jemima often reffered to liz as Camilla....she still features very much in Hugh's life and the two women do not see eye to eye".

Jewellery at The Brits

Last night I watched a little bit of the Brits...

I know I know...what was I doing in on Valentines Day...I should have been being showered in Diamonds!


Well, sometimes things dont quite go according to plan.

Anyway, I couldnt beleive how much jewellery everyone was wearing, not just diamond jewellery but all types.

Russell Brand is mad as a hatter isnt he? He was covered in rings on both hands, necklaces, bracelets. And black was a popular colour, one ring looked like an onyx ring surround with diamonds, well sparkly stuff!

Then Fern Cotton, dressed in her Leopard Print Dress had rings on both fingers and big ones, along with big chunky bracelets.

Anthony Ed who plays the Prime Minister in Little Britain was also wearing a black stone ring.

Sophie Ellis Bexter came on to present an award and was wearing massive chandelier type earrings.

It seems the bigger the better.

Corrine Bailey Rae wore just a ring, but her performance was amazing. Such a show and so original. So refreshing not to see the normal backing singers and dancings prancing around in next to nothing. Well done Corrine!


And well last of all...Take That...didnt they do well. Pacience is a great song.
