Big is Beautiful!

According to The Daily Mail, the current fashion trend is for big, bold and beautiful cocktail rings. That's great news for us girls that like any excuse to go a bit OTT in the jewellery department!!

Lots of celebs have been seen wearing oversized, chunky rings, as opposed to accessorizing with oversized designer bags, which seem to be well on the way out. Popular choices include large gemstone rings, such as the gorgeous aquamarine ring worn by Angelina Jolie and floral motif style rings.

The key to pulling off this trend seems to be in choosing a ring that complements your outfit, and choosing an outfit that isn't trying to compete with the ring!

Kelly Brook & Billy Zane Split

Apparently Kelly Brook and Billy Zane have split. Whilst Kelly Brook was in Come Dancing her dad died and this affected her really badly as you can imagine and she couldnt carry on with the programme.

Kelly and Billy have been together for quite a while and I always found them a bit of a strange couple but they seemed to have a good relationship. Billy was very jealous of Kelly whilst she danced with Brendan on Come Dancing.

Kelly was seen at some awards the other night not wearing her Engagement Ring and thats when the rumours started.

Kate Moss Buys Own Wedding Ring

It seems that Kate Moss is the ultimate modern woman, as she's reportedly just paid £90,000 for her own wedding ring.

The ring is said to be a diamond and platinum band with an Egyptian themed symbol of long life, from the famous London jewellers, Garrards.

The Kills guitarist, Jamie Hince, proposed to Kate last month. He got down on one knee in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and is said to be totally smitten with her.

At least Jamie seems to be a major improvement on Pete Doherty (What a loser!). It looks like Kate wants to have another baby and calm down her lifestyle, so hopefully he'll be the right person to do this with. Good luck Kate!

Deborah Meaden Ring -Dragons Den

Dragons Den is a brilliant programme, some people have the most ridiculous businesses and some come up with ideas that you cant beleive hasnt been done yet.

Deborah Meaden is a funny character and a very diffucult character...shes so tough that comes across quite rude.

But every week she wears this most unusual ring. Its a big round diamond circle that lye flat on the finger. I have never seen anything like it before.

Katie & Peters Rings on Jonathan Ross

Katie and Peter are a funny double act. He talks complete crap and she really does seem embarrased by it. I really think she is very funny, although that top didnt look nice and I cannot beleive she thinks she looks great like that.

She is so naturally attractive, but feels she needs to put on this mask, very thick mask of make-up.

Its funny, she was really slagging of Victoria Beckham, obviously something has happened theree and she mentions some things in her book but when she said...what does she actually do.....errr she was in the biggest girl band ever that shook the world.

Hello, Spice Girls, was huge and everyone seems to think....what has Victoria Beckham Done? What is it, she is a little annoying with her pouts but shes not a bad person...theres alot worse to have a moan at.

Pearls remind me of old people and especially very old English Grandmothers wearing their Pearl Earrings and Pearl Necklaces. But I have recently seen lot more younger people on telly wearing them too.

Today Ive gone for the ethnicky look. Long silky brown skirt with mixed colour loose off shoulder top and I looked in my jewellery box and put on my lovely Garnet Ring which really looks great with what I am wearing.





Last night I had a good sort out of my jewellery box...it does need a good overhaul every so often, otherwise you cant see the wood for the trees.

Victoria Beckham - New York Fashion Week

Victoria Beckham looked amazing in that red dress she wore to New York Fashion Week.

Here the Sun NewsPaper have some amazing photos of her. If you click on the slide show, the first dress is fantastic, so colourful without being sickly. As you go through the pictures you will see shes wearing a large stoned ring, much clearer in Picture 7. She just keeps it so simple. No fuss, just a great dress bag and heels with 1 or 2 simple bits of jewellery.

I think her hair is a little too long for her shape face.

Her book " That Extra Half Inch" is out which is going to be one we all say we are not going to buy but its going to sneek onto our shelves...just like Jordan! Yes, I admit it I read A Whole New World and Being Jordan, its very easy to read and its not that bad. The funny thing is is that shes adamant that her not having her dad around didnt affect her, but it did. Wow, its been along time since blogging.....just been so busy. Its been the summer holidays with kids everywhere including in my home so not been getting much work done...but soon The Diamond Chicks will be back to normal.



So, a little while ago it was Heidi Klum with her Clover Jewellery, but now Celine Dion, a name that hasnt been around much....oh how us Diamond Chicks loved her ballards. Near....Far....My Heart will go on....yes yes, The Diamond Chicks would have definately sang that Titanic Song at Karaoke once in their little lives!!!

But Celine Dion, now has a Jewellery Range with Yang Lan a very famous Chinese Host, and it will be called HV Love. The website isnt quite finished but when it is I think it could be worth a look. Theres going to be quite a bit if Diamond Jewellery including Diamond Engagement Rings and other little pressies for the ladies.

Poor Kerry Katona, she is not out of the news at the moment for good and bad, but regardless, noone deserves what she was put through in her own house. It sounds horific what she was put through and cant blame her for taking it badly and being checked back into the famous Priory Hospital.

In Heat Magazine this week there is a picture of her sitting down, not looking very happy smoking and wearing a ring just like this one with a matching colour bag. Now it used to be match your bag and shoes, could this be the next thing....match your ring and bag!

Chantelle & Preston

More break-ups, Chantelle & Preston announced they split up the other day. What a shame, it really was a dream come true romance.

I thought they made a really sweet couple and like the title of her book, she really was "Living the Dream", well maybe dreams are better left in our heads, whilst sleeping.

No reason really for the break-up, noone else involved, just too much pressure on the relationship, caused by press, etc etc.

They have been spotted together and there is hope that maybe the two will get back together, but they say they they are still good friends and will remain friends.

Lets see if they are still friends once divorce proceedings start and they both want the cake and not just a slice of it!

Mel B´s Engagement Ring

Mel B is in the news all the time at the moment. I was completely surprised today when I heard she was getting married....to who?????

Shes only just had a baby by Mr Eddie Murphy, which still seems abit unreal just because he was such a huge star - Beverly Hills Cop. But after a paternity test, its proof he is the father.

However, she is with someone else and has been since her and Eddie split up. Her boyfriend Stephen Belafonte a Holywood Producer.

Is no-one content with just living with each other for a while and seeing how things?

I wonder what wedding number 2 will be like? What will the engagement ring look like?

Chris Evans & Natasha Shishmanian Engagement Ring

So its Marriage number 3 for Chris Evans. He is getting married to Natasha Shishmanian (what a fantastic name) who is just 28 years old golfer and writer.

He proposed to her near where I was recently on holiday where I saw all the footballers including Alan Shearer in Quinta Do Lago, Portugal.

Chris was deciding whether to allow a magazine to do their wedding and donate it all to charity...personally, after reading Jordans Book about her wedding, I would say "DONT DO IT". I was stressed just reading about it, you dont get to enjoy your own wedding. Chris you have enough money to make your own wedding and donate to charity!



So Chris First wife was Carol McGiffen (pictured below) from Loose Women, and people are saying that Natasha looks like a younger version of Carol. Then Chris married Billie Piper in a wirlwind romance which only lasted about 3 years.

Jackie Brambles is looking better and better as she is getting old.

More weddings, Penny Lancaster & Rod Stewart got married in a very quiet and low key ceremony in Italy.

You can see the ring in this picture, its a lovely ring, looks like just a single very very large square stone. My kind of ring...hint hint!!!

I hope this marriage lasts longer than his marriage to Rachel Hunter. They all look alike to me!

Rod Stewart is one of those singers, that you think, im not too sure i like his music and songs, but when you actually hear all of them, they are great. He is a fantastic singer and entertainer.

So when you think Weddings, you may think, engagement ring from your local Jeweller that you have known for years and feel confident that you wont get ripped off or you may go to Argos for the Engagement ring, or you may even feel confident at buying on the Internet from The Diamond Store and receiving a free valuation of your Jewellery when you buy it.

Jordan and Peters Rings

Peter and Jordan, what are they like!

I keep getting ropped in to watching their fly on the wall documentary. So far Peters been in hospital really ill with Menegitis, Katie Price / Jordan is heavily pregnant.

I dont know what it is but Katie just seems so unsincere....She really does love him but I think its the tone of her voice that makes her sound unsincere.

She is a very very clever girl. Much cleverer than Peter. Peter does seem a little, well, dense. Katie, just knows all the ultimate put downs, she is so funny.

Peter went out testing fast cars last night, apparently wearing Katies jeans and a huge Pave Diamond Ring. It was huge. Katies Ring is also HUGE, a huge big square diamond ring. They really like to be noticed these two in all ways. If you have a look here you can get a peek of their rings

In the car last night she was taking all her make-up off, and she looked amazing. I think she is a really insecure person under the act, because she is so attractive, but she has to pretend to be the porn star all the time.

American Idol - The Final Six

So tonight was Bon Jon Jovi Night or is it Jon Bon Jovi...oh I never know. I did see him twice in concerts many years ago and he was fantastic, even though I hated the whole rock thing.



The girls were great tonight, the guys, well, Im not too keen on anyway.



Nearly all the girls were wearing gold jewellry tonight and the boys, well, diamond stud earrings!



Lets started with Jordin, how big is she? Its not until Ryan stands next to her that you realise and shes only 17 years old. Big massive curly black hair with red streaks with lots of black and gold jewellery on, earrings, bracelet and long chunky necklace with a heart at the end.



LaKisha tonight was fantastic, full of attitude, not too sure on the fringe though. In rehersals she was wearing a necklace similar to this....not too sure if it was real diamonds though.

She looked great tonight dressed in black with her big gold chunky jewelry and huge round glass ring.

Blake & Chris both went for small diamond studs in each ear.

But Paula has to win it for originality. She had this huge rose like ring on her finger, it even looked like it was fabric...looked cool though.

Rachel Hunter was guest on the show today and she was really good fun. Spoke the truth, in fact said many things that I keep saying, like Chris´ strange cheese grins to the camera and that hes not actually as good as he thinks.

Kirsten Dunst Engagement & Wedding

Kirsten Dunst is a funny one....I have heard of her in the past as I recently wrote about her being on Jonathan Ross show, but I never really knew who she was.

She really could be someone that lives next door to you and you would never know. Shes just got one of those faces where she can look, well, plain, normal but then amazing when done up and completely different each time. Its quite cool actually.

Because of Spiderman shes everywhere at the moment and recently said on Sky News that when she marries her boyfriend Johnny Borrell from Razorlight she would like a small secluded beach wedding with just her family and close friends around.

Melinda Doolittle Jewellery - American Idol

She is really "Sweet" isnt she. Is it just me or has she no neck? Im sorry, but last week she had a different wig on which was straight hair and came just past her shoulders.....she looked the best ever.

Kirsten Dunst Jewellery

The other night I was watching one of my favourite programmes on TV....Johnathon Ross on Friday Night.

He just makes me laugh so much, he is soo cheeky and as if hes got a bit of terets...soo soo funny.

Anyway....Superman is everywhere at the moment along with Kirsten Dunst I was really surprised with what she was wearing....a very pale dress with her pale skin....she just looked invisible. She didnt even have a necklace or bracelet on to bring a bit of life to her. The only thing she was wearing was 1 ring which didnt make any statement but...it was on the new fashionable finger.

Oh yes girls....the new finger to wear rings on is your finger next to your thumb...so is that your 1st finger or your 4th finger....oh I dont know....the one next the the thumb. you know which one.

The other day my fingers were changing in size again so had to wear my beautiful Blue Topaz Ring on that finger...then my sister-in-law saw it and said....oh you are up with the fashion then...thats the new finger!

So there it is girls...The Diamond Chick is in fashion.

Amy Winehouse Engagement Ring

We have an engagement....

Amy Winehouse, one of the most fantastic singers in a long time is engaged to her boyfriend Blake Fielder.

She apparently made him wait 24 hours for an answer after he gave her the diamond engagement ring from Tiffany. I think its about time people took time over their answers when someone proposes...all too often they´re divorced before they´re even married.

I cant wait to see what her wedding is going to be like, shes such a rebel, anything could happen.

Im sure it will be one noone will forget in a hurry....but keep that fantastic music coming Amy, you are one of the most talented young unique singers in a long time.

Myleenes Engagement Ring & Wedding

Myleene Klass came across so nice when she starred in Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

She was just a really nice, caring person. After seeing her breakdown on national tv, I did think she had a lot of problems and was going down hill, but shes pulled herself back up, put on some weight and now she looks absolutely amazing.

Starting this week were the Marks and Spencers adverts starring Myleene along with Twiggy, once again looking amazing in her swimming costume! Im sure all you men out there remember the bikini we are talking about!

And as if thats enough, this weeks its also been announced that she is pregnant and getting married to her partner Graham Quinn who was once her bodyguard. But she is going to wait until their baby is born before squeezing into the wedding dress.

Good luck Myleene, you are a very talented and beautiful woman and sure that you will sparkle on your wedding day as much as your diamond engagement ring!

Dame Edna´s Rings & Jewellery

How funny was Dame Edna the other night. I have seen her in soooo long I forgot how funny the show was.

And the guests just didnt seem to know how to take Edna - that was even funnier. Ronnie Corbetts bit was brilliant.

What about the jewellery, how big were those rings and how many was she wearing? I think she had a gemstone ring on every finger.

She was wearing a big aquamarine and a big black sapphire or onyx ring amongst every other colour going!

Coleens Ring - 21st Birthday Present

So rumours have leaked out that everyone knows what Wayne Rooney is going to buy Coleen for her 21st Birthday at the end of this month.

And I am going to add to that....aparently his is buying her a 200k Diamond Ring by Chopard. It is 10 carat though!

Chopard is the top stars favourite jewellery designer including Sir Elton John and Victoria Beckham.

I personally cant work out whether the jewellery is gopping or beautiful.

This party sounds like its going to be a right laugh. P diddy with Coleen and Wayne....err when did that happen?

Wags Boutique and their Jewellery

Oh no...I did it again, I watched that Wags Boutique with all the wannabies.

Its awful, some of them are just so fowl mouthed its unbelievable. Then you have one shop I think its "Better Half" with one of the girls called Cassie who is the ex girlfriend of Michael Essien (plays for Chelsea - if you didnt know), she just constantly needs attention and every week is in the paper with another kiss and tell about her ex boyfriend footballer.

One of them got engaged, the blonde one with the squeaky voice, Charlotte Meares aka Mrs Jermain Defoe. She just constantly showed off her new diamond engagement ring that was a large square diamond like the one above but times the price by about 30! 63,000 pounds apparently!

The girl with long dark hair, I think her name is Michaela, she was wearing really large ruby colour earrings.

What did seem to be very popular amongst the some of the "Wags" were Diamond Stud Earrings.

Julie Phillips (wife of Kevin Phillips), Heather Swain and even June Sarpong was wearing them. And I must say, June Sarpong looked the best she has looked in ages. She looked so great last night with her hair completely swept back with a long pony tail with her diamond stud earrings sparkling.

Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan Split Up!

Shock...Horror...only the other day we were saying what a nice couple they make!

Weell hot off the press...it seems like Hugh and Jemima are no more.

apparently he gave her a beautiful sapphire and diamond ring a few weeks ago which led us all to believe that something was going on...

but Jemima has stated that they are no longer togaether and Hugh was pictured on his own returning from abroad.

A source close to the couple said that Hugh's old flame Liz Hurley was to blame.

"Jemima often reffered to liz as Camilla....she still features very much in Hugh's life and the two women do not see eye to eye".
