Diamond cluster pendants predominantly use claw or prong mounts. This is because the prongs holding the diamonds are tiny which means more of the diamond is visible and this in turn allows the maximum amount of light to refract through the stone and make it sparkle.
To clean your diamond cluster pendant soak it in a warm solution of mild liquid detergent and water. Use a soft brush if necessary making sure that the bristles are not too stiff and wiry to scratch the gold setting. When you are happy that all the dirt has been removed rinse it thoroughly in warm water and pat dry with a lint free cloth.
