According to the Jewellery Information Center, a non-profit organisation representing more that 2,000 jewellery retailers and manufacturers in the USA, men's diamond jewellery and accessories are one of the fastest growing sectors in the industry.Jewellers are reporting that single diamond stud earrings for men are selling faster than ever before.
Many attribute celebrities and hollywood stars for helping to glamourise diamonds to male consumers. A man is no longer compared to "Mr T" when he wears a nice chain. It is becoming increasingly accepted to accessorise both everyday wear and nightwear with diamond rings, earrings, and even pendants. At the 2006 Golden Globes, even actor Jonny Depp was seen wearing a diamond necklace! Even diamond watches which used to be exclusive to the hip-hop elite are now mainstream sellers.
So, stuck for a gift for your man? Time to buy him diamonds!
