New Search Facility On The Diamond Store.co.uk

We have wanted to impliment a better product search on the Diamond Store for some time. So we have recently teamed up with SLI Systems and we are testing their search technology, if you have used the next website (www.next.co.uk) then you have probably used this system.

Early signs are that it is a winner!

Why is it good for our visitors / customers?

It handles mispells, makes search suggestions, gives "drill down options" and it is incredibly accurate!

For example if you search - pink sapphire - you get a page of pink sapphire products (as you would expect!!) but you also get prompts asking you if you meant....pink sapphire earrings, pink sapphire rings, pink sapphire pendants etc... see screenshot below....

It remembers POPULAR searchs and it also learns as it goes...so the more it gets used the more accurate the results will be!!!
