If your ring feels a little loose, a ring adjuster offers a simple way to create a more comfortable, secure fit - without making a permanent change to your ring.
Easy to fit and remove, it’s a small piece of plastic that sits discreetly around the inside of the band to reduce the amount of space between your ring and finger.
How to fit your ring adjuster
Watch our step-by-step video to see how to attach your ring adjuster and find the most comfortable fit.
What does a ring adjuster do?
A ring adjuster temporarily makes the inside of your ring band smaller, helping to prevent a loose-fitting ring from slipping, spinning or moving around excessively on your finger.
It can be particularly useful if:
- Your ring is slightly too large
- Your ring spins or moves around on your finger
- Your finger size fluctuates with temperature or throughout the year
- You need a temporary solution before having your ring professionally resized
- You want to improve the fit without permanently altering your ring
How should a ring fit?
Your ring should feel comfortable and secure without feeling tight. Fit the adjuster around the inside of the band as demonstrated in the video, then try your ring on.
If it still feels loose, adjust the positioning, try a larger ring adjuster, or cut a slightly larger portion. If the ring feels too tight or uncomfortable, remove the adjuster and try a smaller size, or a smaller piece of adjuster.
Once fitted correctly, your ring should sit more securely, while still sliding comfortably over your knuckle.
A temporary solution
Ring adjusters are designed to improve the fit of a ring that is only slightly too large. They are not a permanent alternative to professional ring resizing.
If your ring is significantly too large, continues to move despite using the adjuster, or you would prefer a permanent solution, our Customer Service team can advise you on the resizing or exchange options available for your ring.
