diamonds explained

Diamond certification

A diamond certificate includes a detailed and impartial expert assessment of the diamond’s clarity, colour, cut, carat weight and other characteristics.

You may sometimes also hear a diamond certificate referred to as a diamond grading report, diamond quality document or diamond dossier.

The intention of a diamond certificate is to give you a thorough report on the diamond you have purchased. It confirms the diamond’s quality and authenticity and provides proof of your ownership.

The certificate available for your piece is indicated on the product page.

Getting the right ring size is key to comfort and fit. You can order our free ring sizer or use our ring size guide and app to measure an existing ring at home. If you’re buying an engagement ring in secret, a good tip is to borrow a ring your partner already wears (on the correct finger if possible) and measure it or ask a close friend or family member for help. Our team can also guide you on choosing the best size, and in many cases, rings can be resized later if needed.

In most cases, yes. Many of our rings can be resized depending on the design and setting. Classic diamond rings, wedding bands, and engagement rings are often resizable, while certain eternity bands or intricate styles may not be.

Once your ring is returned to us, if resizing isn’t possible, we’ll simply issue you a replacement ring in your desired size. This is the best solution for most orders.

However, if you would prefer to have your original ring resized, usually for sentimental reasons, please let our Customer Service team know when you get in touch. We’ll do everything we can to accommodate this request and keep you updated throughout the process.

Yes, we offer ring engraving on selected designs, ideal for adding a personal touch to wedding rings, engagement rings, and special gifts. Popular engraving choices include initials, meaningful dates, or short messages, making your jewellery truly unique. If engraving is available for your ring, it will show as an option to add an engraved message on the product page.

Yes - your ring should be as unique as your love story, so you can choose any design from our collection to represent it. Many of our rings, from classic diamond solitaires to eternity bands and gemstone styles, are perfect for both weddings and engagements. Whether you prefer a timeless design or something modern and distinctive, our rings are crafted to symbolise love, commitment, and a lifetime together.

Our rings are crafted with high-quality materials, designed to be durable enough for everyday wear. However, to keep your ring in the best condition, we recommend removing it during heavy manual work, gym sessions, or when using strong cleaning products. Some gemstones, such as emeralds or opals, are more delicate due to their hardness rating and are better suited for occasional wear. But with the right care, your ring will shine for a lifetime.
